She featured on DJ Fresh's single, "Hot Right Now", in February 2012, which reached number one in the United Kingdom. Her debut studio album, Ora, was released in August 2012. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was subsequently certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). Ora spawned four singles; the first two, "How We Do (Party)" and "R.I.P.", both reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, while "Shine Ya Light" and "Radioactive" reached numbers ten and eighteen in the United Kingdom, respectively.
