The 2024 National Games of Nepal, also known as the 10th National Games of Nepal and informally Karnali 2024 are held from 17 November 2024 to 24 November 2024 in Karnali Province. [2]
The 115th board meeting of NSC during the 9th National Games held in Gandaki Province last year had announced that the 10th National Games will be held in Karnali Province from November 17 to November 24, 2024. [3] [4]
The 118th board meeting of the NSC has postponed the new schedule for the national games to 5-12 April, 2025. [5]
Teams are expected from all 7 Provinces and 3 departmental Clubs of Nepal as well as a team representing Non-Resident Nepali, NRNA.
37 disciplines(35+2 Exhibition) will be contested in the 2024 National Games.

Dailekh District a part of Karnali Province, is one of the 77 districts of Nepal. The district, with Dailekh as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,502 km2 (580 sq mi) and had a population of 225,201 in 2001 and 261,770 in 2011.
Magar Dhut is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken mainly in Nepal, southern Bhutan, and in Darjeeling, Assam and Sikkim, India, by the Magar people. It is divided into two groups and further dialect divisions give distinct tribal identity. In Nepal 810,000 people speak the language.
Sarki/Mijar is an indigenous people in Nepal. They are found in the region of the Himalayas, Nepal, across the hills of Darjeeling & Kalimpong and in Terai area of Dooars. They are experts in playing their musical instrument "Madal" and performing dance in a group which is also called “Khayali Marooni”. According to the 2021 Nepal census, Sarki makes up 1.55% of Nepal's population. Sarki are referred to in the Nepali and Thakali languages.
Nepalgunj, also spelled Nepalganj, is a Sub-Metropolitan City in Banke District, Nepal. It lies on the Terai plains near the southern border with Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh, India. Nepalgunj is 153 kilometers south-west of Ghorahi and 16 km south of Kohalpur. Former Village Development Committee: Udayapur, Bhawaniyapur, Piprahawa, Jaispur, Paraspur, Indrapur, Khaskarkado, Basudevpur, Manikapur and Puraina were added to territory in order to make it Sub metropolitan city on 2071 Paush 28 and later Puraini was also added in list on 2072 Paush 21. Further, while restructuring of local levels nationwide, ward no. 23 was taken out to Janaki Rural Municipality and ward no. 7 of Hirminiya VDC was added to Nepalgunj.
Birendranagar officially Birendranagar Municipality is a city in Surkhet District in Karnali Province of Nepal. It is the capital city of Karnali province as well as the district headquarter of Surkhet district. As of March 2022, Birendranagar has a population of 154,886, making it the 17th most populous city of Nepal. Birendranagar is the largest city of Karnali province and 7th largest in Western Nepal. It is one of the fastest growing cities of Nepal and is on two national highways, Ratna Highway and Karnali Highway. It is one of the constituent city of the Ratna Highway Metropolitan Areas along with Nepalgunj and Kohalpur. Birendranagar compromises of panoramic view of Mahabharata and Chure ranges and the plain of the inner Terai. A major trade center in mid-western Nepal, Birendranagar is considered the most expensive city to live in Nepal.
Nepal Red Cross Society is an independent, volunteer-based and humanitarian organization that delivers humanitarian service and support to the vulnerable people in an impartial and neutral manner. It came into being on 4 September 1963. Nepal Red Cross Society was officially registered in Nepal after Nepal Government acceded to the Geneva Conventions. Having been recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and affiliated to International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) on 1 October 1964.
The National sports council of Nepal is the governmental authentic sports organization of Nepal. There are more than 123 sports related association and 6 federation are affiliated under it. It has the motto "sports for the health, sports for the nation". Its falls under Ministry of Youth and Sports. And the minister is official chairman of the council. Current chairman is Hon. Teju Lal Chaudhary whereas vice chairman is Shiva Koirala "Jwala". Tanka Lal Ghising is a member secretary of National Sports Council.

The 2023–24 Prime Minister Cup (Women) was the ninth edition of the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as one departmental teams. It began on 21 December 2023 and end on 3 January 2024. The format was changed for the 2023–24 season, with the eight teams competing in a round-robin format with the top four advancing to the play-offs.
The 2024 Prime Minister Cup was the sixth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contest by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 13 January 2024 and end on 3 February. The tournament will be played in three different venues.
Karnali Province Cricket team, and also known as Team Karnali is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Karnali Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs and 20-over cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The team is currently being run under the Karnali Province Cricket Association, with Rabindra Shahi as the team captain.

The Karnali Province Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Surkhet, Karnali Province, Nepal. It has a capacity of 25,000 spectators. This stadium will be Nepal's one of the largest football stadium by capacity.
The Kalinchowk Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Surkhet, Nepal. This Cricket Ground is also called as Kalungchowk international Cricket Ground. It is the home ground for Karnali Province cricket team, and Karnali Yaks.
