Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 6–3, 6–7(4–7), 6–3 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. It was her first Wimbledon title and second major singles title overall. She became the first Australian to win the title since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980, the first top seed to win the title since Serena Williams in 2016 and the first to do so at any major since Simona Halep at the 2018 French Open. Barty's victory made her the fourth player to win the women's singles title after previously winning the girls' singles title. She retained the world No. 1 ranking by reaching the semifinals, with Aryna Sabalenka having also been in contention for the top ranking.

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Elena Rybakina in the final, 4–6, 6–3, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Australian Open. It was her first major singles title. Sabalenka dropped just one set during the tournament, to Rybakina in the championship match. Rybakina became the first Kazakhstani player to progress past the fourth round, and the first player since Jennifer Capriati in 2001 to defeat three consecutive major champions in a single edition of the Australian Open. By reaching the final, Rybakina made her debut in the top ten of the WTA rankings making her the first player representing Kazakhstan, male or female, ever to reach this milestone.

Ons Jabeur defeated Jessica Pegula in the final, 7–5, 0–6, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Madrid Open. It was her first WTA 1000 title, and she became the first Arab and African woman to win a WTA 1000 title.

Simona Halep defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia in the final, 6–3, 2–6, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Canadian Open. Halep's third Canadian Open title marked the first time in her career she won an event on three occasions and also earned her a ninth WTA 1000 title. Haddad Maia was the first Brazilian to reach beyond the quarterfinals and contest the final at a WTA 1000 tournament.

Caroline Garcia defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–2, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters. It was her third WTA 1000 title, and her first since 2017. Garcia was the first qualifier to reach and to win the final of a WTA 1000 event.

Elena Rybakina defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 7–6(13–11), 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Indian Wells Open. It was her first WTA 1000 title, and the final was a rematch of the Australian Open final, won by Sabalenka. Rybakina became the first Kazakhstani player to win a WTA 1000 singles title.

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Iga Świątek in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Madrid Open. It was her fifth WTA 1000 title. This marked the first time since 2013 that the top two seeds contested the Madrid Open final. It was also the first time since 2000 that the top two players on the WTA Tour contested back-to-back finals, after Świątek won in Stuttgart the week prior.

Markéta Vondroušová defeated Ons Jabeur in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. It was her first major singles title and her first title overall in six years. Vondroušová became the first unseeded female player to win the Wimbledon title, the first to contest the final since Billie Jean King did so in 1963, and at world No. 42 was the lowest-ranked champion and second-lowest-ranked finalist since the WTA rankings were established in 1975. By winning the title, Vondroušová made her debut in the top ten of the WTA rankings.

Coco Gauff defeated Karolína Muchová in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Cincinnati Open. It was her first WTA 1000 title and the first WTA 1000 final appearances for both Gauff and Muchová. Gauff became the youngest champion in Cincinnati history. By reaching the final, Muchová debuted in the top ten of the WTA rankings.

Coco Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 2–6, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 US Open. It was her first major title. Gauff became the first American teenager to win the title since Serena Williams in 1999, and one of three teenagers to win the title within five years, following Bianca Andreescu in 2019 and Emma Raducanu in 2021. Sabalenka became the first woman since Serena Williams in 2016 to reach at least the semifinals of all four majors in a season.

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka defeated Zheng Qinwen in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Australian Open. It was her second Australian Open title and second major singles title overall. Sabalenka did not lose a set during the tournament, and lost only 31 games in total. Sabalenka became the first player to defend the title since Victoria Azarenka in 2013.

Jasmine Paolini defeated Anna Kalinskaya in the final, 4–6, 7–5, 7–5 to win the women's singles title at the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championships. It was her first WTA 1000 title and second WTA Tour singles title overall. Paolini avenged her loss to Kalinskaya at the Australian Open, where both players had progressed to the second week of a major for the first time. Kalinskaya was the second qualifier to contest a WTA 1000 final, following Caroline Garcia at the 2022 Cincinnati Open.

Iga Świątek defeated Maria Sakkari in the final, 6–4, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Indian Wells Open. It was her eighth WTA 1000 and 19th career WTA Tour title, and she did not lose a set en route. Świątek became the first woman to win multiple titles at Indian Wells since Victoria Azarenka in 2016, and just the tenth woman to do so overall. She was the first player since Maria Sharapova in 2013 to win the title without dropping a set, and lost just 21 games throughout the entire tournament; this was the fewest since Steffi Graf lost 16 games in 1994. The final was a rematch of the 2022 final, which Świątek also won.

Elena Rybakina defeated Marta Kostyuk in the final, 6–2, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Stuttgart Open. It was her eighth career WTA Tour title.

Iga Świątek defeated defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in a rematch of the previous year's final, 7–5, 4–6, 7–6(9–7) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Madrid Open. She saved three championship points en route to her ninth WTA 1000 and 20th career WTA Tour title.

Iga Świątek defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Italian Open. This was her third title at the Italian Open in four years. She was the first woman to win a third title in Rome since Maria Sharapova in 2015, and the youngest to do so since Gabriela Sabatini in 1991. Świątek won the title without dropping a set or facing a tiebreak in any match; she became just the fifth woman to have won multiple titles in Rome without dropping a set.

Defending champion Jessica Pegula defeated Amanda Anisimova in the final, 6–3, 2–6, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Canadian Open. It was her third WTA 1000 and sixth career WTA Tour title. Pegula became the first player to defend the women's singles title since Martina Hingis in 2000. Ranked No. 132, Anisimova became the lowest-ranked women's singles finalist at the Canadian Open since Alycia Moulton in 1984.

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Jessica Pegula in the final, 6–3, 7–5, to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Cincinnati Open. She did not lose a set en route to her sixth WTA 1000 title and 15th career WTA Tour title. Pegula was attempting to become the first woman to win both the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open in the same season since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1973.
