The 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup will be the 11th edition (4th official) of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup (previously the AFC Beach Soccer Championship before rebranding in 2021 [1] ), the premier beach soccer tournament contested by Asian men's national teams, organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The tournament will take place in Pattaya, Thailand. The championship will also act as the qualification tournament for Asian teams for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, to be held in Seychelles. The top three teams qualify for the World Cup.
Iran are the defending champions.

The draw of the tournament was held on 19 December 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. [3] [4] The 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four teams. The teams were seeded according to their performance in the 2023 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, with the hosts Thailand automatically seeded and assigned to Position A1 in the draw.

Association football is one of the most popular sports in India. The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup was the first FIFA event the country hosted. The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) is an organisation within the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and is an international governing body of association football, futsal, and beach soccer in Southeast Asia. It consists of the federations of Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. However Australia is geographically not Southeast Asian.

The 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Overall, this was the 17th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the Beach Soccer World Championships which ran from 1995–2004 but was not governed by FIFA. It took place from 18–28 September 2013 at Tahua To'ata Stadium in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia and was the fourth tournament to have taken place outside Brazil. This was the second tournament to take place since the establishment of a longer two-year cycle of tournaments. This was also the first FIFA tournament held in a Pacific country other than New Zealand, and the first senior FIFA tournament took place in the region.
The India national beach soccer team represents India in international beach soccer competitions and is controlled by the AIFF, the governing body for football in India. So far the team has participated at the 2007 AFC Beach Soccer Championship and at the 2008 Asian Beach Games.
The 2013 AFC Beach Soccer Championship was a continental beach soccer tournament which took place from 22 to 26 January 2013, at a temporary stadium and adjacent pitch on the Katara Beach in Doha, Qatar. The stadium will have a capacity of 3,000 spectators.
