The 2025 season is FC Seoul's 42nd in the K League 1. The club also participated in the 2025 edition of the FA Cup. As the team finished 4th in the league, they qualified for the AFC Champions League Elite competition. This is because the FA Cup winner, Pohang Steelers failed to finished in Top 4 of the league [1] [2] and Gimcheon Sangmu who finished third, not eligible for the competition.

The 2009 Korean FA Cup, known as the 2009 Hana Bank FA Cup, was the 14th edition of the Korean FA Cup. It began on 1 March 2009, and ended on 8 November 2009. Suwon Samsung Bluewings won their second title, and qualified for the 2010 AFC Champions League.
