The 2025 Rally Sweden (also known as the 2025 Swedish Rally) is a planned motor racing event for rally cars that is scheduled to be held over four days from 13 to 16 February 2025. [2] It would mark the seventy-second running of the Rally Sweden, and is set to be the second round of the 2025 World Rally Championship, 2025 WRC2 Championship and 2025 WRC3 Championship. The event would also be the first round of the 2025 Junior WRC Championship. [3] The 2025 event is set to be based in Umeå in Västerbotten County and would be consisted of eighteen special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 300.22 km (186.55 mi).
Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm are the defending rally winners, and Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, are the defending manufacturer's winners. [4] Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson are the defending rally winners in the WRC2 championship. [5] Mille Johansson and Johan Grönvall are the defending rally winners in the WRC3 championship as well as the junior championship. [6] [7]
The following crews are set to enter into the rally. The event is set to be opened to crews competing in the World Rally Championship, its support categories, the WRC2 Championship, the WRC3 Championship and privateer entries that are not registered to score points in any championship. Twelve are set to enter under Rally1 regulations, as are twenty Rally2 crews in the WRC2 Championship and nineteen Rally3 crew in the WRC3 Championship. A total of twelve crews are set to participate in the Junior World Rally Championship. [8]

The 2018 FIA World Rally Championship was the 46th season of the World Rally Championship, a rallying championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as the highest class of international rallying. Teams and crews were competing in thirteen events—starting with the Monte Carlo Rally in January and finishing with Rally Australia in November—for the World Rally Championships for Drivers, Co-drivers and Manufacturers. Crews were free to compete in cars complying with World Rally Car and Group R regulations; however, only Manufacturers competing with 2017-specification World Rally Cars were eligible to score points in the Manufacturers' championship. The series were once again supported by the WRC2 and WRC3 categories at every round and by the Junior WRC at selected rounds.
The 2020 FIA World Rally Championship was the forty-eighth season of the World Rally Championship, a rallying competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Teams and crews competed in seven rallies for the World Rally Championships for Drivers, Co-drivers and Manufacturers. Crews were free to compete in cars complying with various regulations, however, only manufacturers competing with World Rally Cars homologated under regulations introduced in 2017 were eligible to score points in the Manufacturers' championship. The championship began in January 2020 with the Rallye Monte-Carlo and concluded in December 2020 with Rally Monza. The series was supported by the WRC2, WRC3 and Junior WRC categories at selected events.
Oliver Solberg is a Swedish rally driver. He is the son of the Norwegian 2003 World Rally Champion, Petter Solberg, and Swedish mother Pernilla Walfridsson, who is also a successful former rally driver. After winning multiple crosskarting championships in his early years, Solberg became the 2018 RallyX Nordic Champion and 2019 FIA ERC1 Junior Champion before entering the World Rally Championship.
The 2021 FIA WRC2 Championship was the ninth season of WRC2, a rallying championship for organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the second-highest tier of international rallying. The category was open to cars entered by teams and complying with Rally2 regulations. The championship began in January 2021 with the Rallye Monte-Carlo and concluded in November 2021 with Rally Monza, and ran in support of the 2021 World Rally Championship.
