The 2025 Rally Sweden (also known as the 2025 Swedish Rally) is a planned motor racing event for rally cars that is scheduled to be held over four days from 13 to 16 February 2025. [2] It would mark the seventy-second running of the Rally Sweden, and is set to be the second round of the 2025 World Rally Championship, 2025 WRC2 Championship and 2025 WRC3 Championship. The event would also be the first round of the 2025 Junior WRC Championship. [3] The 2025 event is set to be based in Umeå in Västerbotten County and would be consisted of eighteen special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 300.22 km (186.55 mi).

Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm are the defending rally winners, and Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, are the defending manufacturer's winners. [4] Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson are the defending rally winners in the WRC2 championship. Entry list

The following crews are set to enter into the rally. The event is set to be opened to crews competing in the World Rally Championship, its support categories, the WRC2 Championship, the WRC3 Championship and privateer entries that are not registered to score points in any championship. Twelve are set to enter under Rally1 regulations, as are twenty Rally2 crews in the WRC2 Championship and nineteen Rally3 crew in the WRC3 Championship. A total of twelve crews are set to participate in the Junior World Rally Championship. [8]

Oliver Solberg is a Swedish rally driver. He is the son of the Norwegian 2003 World Rally Champion, Petter Solberg, and Swedish mother Pernilla Walfridsson, who is also a successful former rally driver. After winning multiple crosskarting championships in his early years, Solberg became the 2018 RallyX Nordic Champion and 2019 FIA ERC1 Junior Champion before entering the World Rally Championship.

The 2024 event was based in Jyväskylä in Central Finland, and was contested over twenty special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 305.69 km (189.95 mi).

The 2024 event was based in Concepción, Biobío, and was contested over sixteen special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 307.48 km (191.06 mi).

The 2024 FIA WRC2 Championship was the twelfth season of WRC2, a rallying championship organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the second-highest tier of international rallying. The category was opened to crews with cars complying with Group Rally2 regulations. The championship began in January 2024 with the Monte Carlo Rally and concluded in November 2024 with the Rally Japan, and ran in support of the 2024 World Rally Championship.

The 2024 FIA Junior WRC Championship was the eleventh season of Junior WRC, a rallying championship governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. The championship featured five events, beginning in February at the Rally Sweden and concluding in September at the Acropolis Rally.

The 2025 Monte Carlo Rally is a planned motor racing event for rally cars that is scheduled to be held over four days from 23 to 26 January 2025. It would mark the ninety-third running of the Monte Carlo Rally, and is set to be the opening round of the 2025 World Rally Championship, 2025 WRC2 Championship and 2025 WRC3 Championship. The 2025 event is set to be based in Gap, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur in France and would be consisted of eighteen special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 343.80 km (213.63 mi).

The 2025 FIA WRC2 Championship is set to be the thirteenth season of WRC2, a rallying championship for organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the third-highest tier of international rallying. It is open to privateers and teams using cars complying with Group Rally2 regulations. The championship is planned to begin in January 2025 with the Monte Carlo Rally and would conclude in November 2025 with the Rally Saudi Arabia, and runs in support of the 2025 World Rally Championship.
