WRC Promoter GmbH is a media company based in Munich, jointly owned by Red Bull GmbH and KW25. The company is responsible for all commercial aspects of the World Rally Championship and European Rally Championship.
Following the former media governing body of the World Rally Championship, Convers Sports Initiatives (acquired International Sportsworld Communicators), entered administration, Red Bull GmbH, WRC Promoter GmbH's owner, was announced as the new promoter from the 2013 season. [1]
The company launched a over-the-top media service, WRC+, in 2014, offering a subscription-based streaming service that covers every World Rally Championship event. [2] The service was rebranded to Rally.TV in 2023, featuring two more series, European Rally Championship and World Rallycross Championship. [3]
In August 2024, it was reported that the company was for sale at a valuation of $550 million. [4]
The World Rally Championship is an international rallying series owned and governed by the FIA. Inaugurated in 1973, it is the second oldest of the FIA's world championships after Formula One. Each season lasts one calendar year, and separate championship titles are awarded to drivers, co-drivers and manufacturers. There are also two support championships, WRC2 and WRC3, which are contested on the same events and stages as the WRC, but with progressively lower maximum performance and running costs of the cars permitted. Junior WRC is also contested on five events of the World Rally Championship calendar.
Rally Estonia is a rallying event organised each year in Estonia. It is the largest and most high-profile motorsport event in the country and runs on smooth gravel roads in the south of the country, some of which are purpose-built for the rally. The city of Tartu hosts the ceremonial start and finish, with the rally headquarters and service park usually based in the Estonian National Museum in Tartu. From 2014 to 2016, Rally Estonia was a round of the FIA European Rally Championship. Rally Estonia was the official WRC Promotional Rally in 2019 and joined the World Rally Championship calendar in 2020.

Kalle Rovanperä is a Finnish professional rally driver who competes in the World Rally Championship (WRC) for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, alongside co-driver Jonne Halttunen. He is a double World Champion, having won the 2022 and 2023 World Championships back to back. As the son of former WRC driver Harri Rovanperä, he garnered international attention by starting rallying at an exceptionally young age.
Rally Chile is a rally competition based in Concepción and held throughout the Biobío region of Chile. It was first held in 2018 when it was run as a candidate event as part of a bid to join the World Rally Championship schedule. The candidate event was deemed successful and the rally was added to the 2019 calendar. The rally made Chile the thirty-second country to host the WRC since the championship was launched in 1973.

The series is supported by the WRC2 and WRC3 categories at every round of the championship and by Junior WRC at selected events.
