The Red Bull RB1 is a Formula One racing car designed by Jaguar Racing for use in the 2005 season. However, with the Red Bull buyout of the Jaguar Racing team, it was used instead by Red Bull Racing. The Red Bull RB1 was officially launched at Circuito de Jerez, Spain on 7 February.
The chassis was designed by Mark Smith, Rob Taylor and Ben Agathangelou and the car's engine was a Cosworth TJ2005 3.0 litres (183 cu in) V10. The RB1 was the first car built by Red Bull Racing after the energy drinks manufacturer bought the Jaguar Racing team in 2004.
The RB1 is rather traditional and conservative, therefore, although only partially detaching itself from its Jaguar ancestor, it presents some characterizing elements. The nose is particularly raised from the ground and the front wing has a distinct spoon shape, with a sinuous shape and very similar to that of the Renault. The side bulkheads, similarly to the system of deflectors placed behind the front wheels, follow the layout of the old car and are inspired by those of Ferrari, especially in the detail of the flow diverters, taking on the characteristic shark tooth shape in the lower part. The mouth of the sides is very similar to the old Jaguar while the rear part appears very different, abandoning the curious vent system of the R5 in favor of a more traditional design featuring long fins, chimneys and exhaust fairings.
The chassis stands out for its accentuated height from the ground, which presupposes the search for maximum aerodynamic load: the bonnet has been slightly modified as, although the squared air intake inherited from the R5 is maintained, in the area of the roll-bar a small profile has been added.
Briton David Coulthard drove for the entire season, with Austrian Christian Klien and Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi sharing the other car. Liuzzi raced in four of the rounds, with Klien racing in the other 15 rounds. The team had two test drivers: American Scott Speed and Swiss driver Neel Jani.
The RB1's best result was a fourth-place finish on its debut at the 2005 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, and at the 2005 European Grand Prix held at the Nürburgring. Both results were achieved by David Coulthard. Christian Klien's best finish was fifth at the season finale in Shanghai. Vitantonio Liuzzi's best finish in the RB1 was eighth in his debut race, the 2005 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola.
The chassis was reused for the Toro Rosso STR1 in 2006.
The main colours used for the livery reflect those typical of the can of the Red Bull energy drink, i.e. blue, used as a base, and grey, used for the wing profiles as on the bargeboards, on the flow diverters in front of the rear wheels, on the profile upper part of the front wing and lower part of the rear wing. On the tip of the nose and in the area between the airscope and the bonnet there is the logo with the two red bulls charging on the yellow disc; they are positioned so that one is on the right side and one on the left side and that they both point towards the front of the car. Three thin bands also run along the sides (red, blue and gray from top to bottom) which start from the bulls positioned on the nose, continue along the sides of the survival cell and on the bellies and end in the rear part of the bonnet. Finally, there are motifs that recall the checkered flag on the nose, on the bonnet and on the outside of the rear wing bulkheads. Another sponsor is tire supplier Michelin.
For the Monaco Grand Prix the two RB1s compete with a special livery aimed at promoting the publication of the film Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and, for this race, the Red Bull pit crew dressed up as Imperial Stormtroopers. Compared to the original one, it features decorative flames on the sides and an image of the character Darth Vader appears on the nose. Furthermore, the team logos located on the rear wing and on the bellies are replaced by those of the Star Wars franchise.
The RB1 was featured in Episode 5 of Season 14 of Top Gear , where it was used by both Jeremy Clarkson and Coulthard for one of their car art projects. They started by shooting paintballs from the car's exhaust and one of the paintballs hits Clarkson in his nether region, causing the two to use an aluminium canvas instead. They later soaked the car in ultraviolet paint, which caused Coulthard's visor to be blurry. [1]

Christian Klien is an Austrian former Formula One racing driver. In total he has scored 14 points in Formula One. Klien currently competes full-time in the GT World Challenge Europe for JP Motorsport.
Red Bull Racing, currently competing as Oracle Red Bull Racing and also known simply as Red Bull or RBR, is a Formula One racing team, racing under an Austrian licence and based in the United Kingdom. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by conglomerate Red Bull GmbH, the other being Scuderia AlphaTauri. The Red Bull Racing team has been managed by Christian Horner since its formation in 2005.

The 2005 Australian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit on 6 March 2005. It was the first round of the 2005 Formula One season. The 58-lap race was won by Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella after he started from pole position. Rubens Barrichello finished second for the Ferrari team and Fisichella's team-mate Fernando Alonso came in third.

Robert Michael Doornbos is a Dutch former racing driver who also competed with a Monégasque licence. He has been test and third driver for the Jordan and Red Bull Racing Formula One teams, as well as driving for Minardi and Red Bull Racing in 2005 and 2006. Doornbos then drove for Minardi Team USA in the 2007 and final season of the Champ Car World Series. He competed in the Superleague Formula racing series in 2008, and drove for the Netherlands team in A1 Grand Prix's 2008–2009 season. In 2009, Doornbos competed in the IndyCar Series. He began the season with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing, but switched to HVM Racing after the race in Kentucky Speedway.
The 2006 Malaysian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor, Malaysia on 19 March 2006. The 56-lap race was the second round of the 2006 Formula One season and the eighth running of the Malaysian Grand Prix as a World Championship race. It was won by Renault driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who took the final of his three victories in Formula One, and scored his first points of the season. He had also started on pole position. His team-mate, Fernando Alonso, finished second to extend his lead in the drivers' championship standings to 7 points. Jenson Button took the first podium in Honda's three year return to the sport by finishing in third place. Fisichella's victory was the last for an Italian driver as of 2023. This was the first 1-2 finish for Renault since their return to F1 as a constructor in 2002, and also their first 1-2 finish overall since the 1982 French Grand Prix.

The Red Bull RB2 is the car with which the Red Bull Racing team competed in the 2006 Formula One season. The chassis was designed by Mark Smith, Rob Taylor and Ben Agathangelou and the engines were supplied by Ferrari. It was driven by David Coulthard and Christian Klien, who had both driven for the team in its debut year, 2005. However, Klien was replaced after the Italian GP by third driver Robert Doornbos after the Austrian refused the team's offer of a ChampCar seat for 2007 once it became apparent that he was going to be replaced by Mark Webber for the next season.
The Scuderia Toro Rosso STR1 was the car with which the Scuderia Toro Rosso team competed in the 2006 Formula One season. It was driven by Vitantonio Liuzzi, who had started four Grands Prix for the sister Red Bull Racing team in 2005, and Scott Speed, a débutant who was the first American driver to compete in F1 since Michael Andretti in 1993. The STR1 was the first car from the Faenza-based team to use Michelin tyres since the Minardi PS02. The STR1 was also the first Toro Rosso F1 car to feature the mandatory 7-speed gearbox configuration. The STR1 was also the last Formula One car to utilize the 3.0 L V10 engine configuration to date, but with 16,700 rpm rev limiter and 77mm air restrictor.

The Toro Rosso STR2 is the car with which the Scuderia Toro Rosso team competed in the 2007 Formula One season. It was unveiled on 13 February 2007 at the Circuit de Catalunya. The car is, controversially, a variant of the Red Bull RB3 chassis. It was initially driven by Vitantonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed, until Speed was replaced by Sebastian Vettel at the Hungaroring for the remainder of the season. The car in a modified form was also used to compete in the first five races of the 2008 Formula One season. The modified car was driven by Sébastien Bourdais, four-consecutive-time Champ Car winner, and Vettel. The STR2 was the first-ever Toro Rosso F1 car to use the mandatory 90-degree Formula One V8 engine configuration but Toro Rosso opted for the 2006-spec Ferrari 056 instead of the 2007-spec because of 1-year old Toro Rosso engine policy and as a cost-saving measure.

The 2010 Spanish Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2010 Formula One season. It was held on 9 May 2010 at the Circuit de Catalunya. It was the first European race of the 2010 season, and was ultimately won by Red Bull's Mark Webber after the Australian qualified on pole and led every lap of the race.
The Minardi PS05 is a Formula One racing car used by Minardi F1 Team during the 2005 season. It failed to be much of an improvement over its predecessor, as the team finished last in the standings for the third consecutive season. The car was launched on 15 April 2005 at Mugello in Italy.
The Hispania F111, also known as the HRT F111, is a Formula One racing car developed for Hispania Racing. The car competed in the 2011 Formula One season and was the first Formula One car designed by the team as HRT's entry into the 2010 season, the F110, was designed by Dallara. Throughout 2011, the F111 was driven by Narain Karthikeyan, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Daniel Ricciardo.
