Fionn McLaughlin (born 29 October 2007) is an Irish racing driver, who is set to compete in the F4 British Championship in 2025 for Hitech Pulse-Eight.
He is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
In 2019, McLaughlin finished 14th overall in the IAME Cadet class of the British Karting Championships. [1] The following year he competed in both Britain and Europe. In Italy he competed for Dino Chiesa's Kart Republic team. [2]
In 2021, McLaughlin moved up to the junior category, winning at the PF International Kart Circuit [3] and finishing 4th overall in the IAME Euro Series. [4] The following year he came 2nd in the 2022 British IAME Junior X30 Championship [5] and finished 2nd in the IAME world finals held in Le Mans, France. [6] [7]
In 2023, McLaughlin was invited to sign with the professional karting team, Kart Republic, racing as part of the VDK Team, based in Belgium. He would become the first Irish driver in history to compete in the CIK-FIA European Championship finishing 7th [8] overall in the Championship.
In 2023, McLaughlin would also compete in the FIA World Karting championship claiming pole position in his group. [9] [10] He would also claim three heat wins across the weekend [11] narrowly missing out on winning [12] the final due to an engine failure. In the same year Fionn claimed 4th [13] position in the Iame X30 European championships. Fionn would also compete at the IAME world games in Portimão, Portugal claiming 5th position.
He won the FIA Academy Champions of the Future race in Abu Dhabi, finishing first with a significant lead.
In 2024, McLaughlin competed in the CIK-FIA European Karting Championship and the CIK-FIA World Karting Championship, finishing 6th overall in both.
McLaughlin claimed 3rd overall in the OK Champions of the Future Euro Series, [14] claiming a race win in the 4th round of the championship, which took place in Kristianstad. He would also claim 2nd place overall in the X30 IAME Euro Series. [15] [16]
Following a shootout in Formula 4 and GP3 cars between 11 invited drivers at Jerez in August 2024, McLaughlin was chosen to be a member of the Red Bull Junior Team. [7] [17]
For 2025, McLaughlin is set to compete both in the Formula Winter Series [18] and the F4 British Championship with Hitech Pulse-Eight. [19] [20]

Oliver "Oli" Oakes is a British former racing driver, entrepreneur and team principal and director of Hitech GP. In July 2024 he was announced as Alpine F1 Team Principal for the remainder of the 2024 season onwards. He was the 2005 World Karting champion, and was once a part of the Red Bull Junior Team.
Ben George Barnicoat is a British racing driver. He is a Lexus Racing USA factory racing driver, making his IMSA Sportscar Championship debut in 2022. He claimed the GTD Pro championship title when he returned for a second season with Lexus and Vasser Sullivan Racing, scoring nine podium finishes on his way to securing a maiden IMSA title for him and Lexus.
Niko Kari is a Finnish former racing driver who last raced in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport. He won his first single-seater championship, the 2015 SMP F4 Championship, in his debut year in car racing and is a former member of the Red Bull Junior Team.
Jüri Vips is an Estonian racing driver. He competes part-time in the NTT IndyCar Series with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, driving the No. 75 Honda-Dallara. He has previously driven in both the FIA Formula 2 Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship, and was formerly a part of the Red Bull Junior Team. He was the 2017 ADAC Formula 4 champion.

Oleksandr "Sasha" Bondarev is a Ukrainian racing driver competing in the Italian F4 Championship for Prema Racing. He is a member of the Williams Driver Academy. He is a winner of several karting championships including 2024 WSK Champions Cup in OK class. His earlier achievements comprise the 2022 WSK Super Master Series and the 2023 CIK-FIA European Championship, both in the OKJ class.
Kanato Le is a Japanese racing driver who most recently competed in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship for G4 Racing. He previously raced in the 2023 F4 British Championship, placing seventh in the standings.

Tuukka Taponen is a Finnish racing driver who is set to compete in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship with ART Grand Prix. He previously competed in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship with R-ace GP, finishing third overall.
Hiyu Yamakoshi is a Japanese racing driver who is set to compete in the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing. He previously competed in the 2024 Italian F4 Championship with the same team, finishing third overall in the standings.
The 2025 ROKiT F4 British Championship will be a multi-event, Formula 4 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across United Kingdom. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in Formula 4 cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. This, the eleventh season, following on from the British Formula Ford Championship, will be the eleventh year that the cars conform to the FIA's Formula 4 regulations. Part of the TOCA tour, it forms part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece.
