The AlphaTauri AT02 is a Formula One racing car designed and constructed by Scuderia AlphaTauri to compete in the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship. The car was driven by Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly. [2] The AT02 is the second car to be built and run under the AlphaTauri name.
2021 confirmed AlphaTauri's position as a respectable midfield runner unable to make the final breakthrough needed to become a top team. The team's package was quick and reliable, but not quite enough to regularly score podiums. Indeed, Gasly and Tsunoda finished just outside the points, no less than two times. The highlight of the year was Gasly's run to third at the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix to score the team's fifth podium since their F1 début in 1985 (as Minardi). This capped an encouraging season for the Frenchman, who was duly kept on for another year. Tsunoda, despite a points finish in the first race of the season, lost his motivation after a sequence of bad luck and narrowly missing out on further points until 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix where Tsunoda finished fourth in his career.
The team eventually finished sixth in the Constructors' Championship with 142 points. This was their best WCC position so far, but there was still some way to go to take on the likes of Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren and Alpine.

Red Bull Racing Limited, currently competing as Oracle Red Bull Racing and also known simply as Red Bull or RBR, is a Formula One racing team, racing under an Austrian licence and based in the United Kingdom. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by conglomerate Red Bull GmbH, the other being RB Formula One Team. The Red Bull Racing team has been managed by Christian Horner since its formation in 2005.
Scuderia Toro Rosso, commonly known as Toro Rosso or by its abbreviation STR, was an Italian Formula One constructor. It was one of two Formula One constructors owned by Austrian conglomerate company Red Bull, the other being Red Bull Racing. Toro Rosso functioned as a junior team to Red Bull Racing, with the aim of developing the skills of promising drivers for the senior team. The constructor made its racing début in the 2006 season, moving to complete independence from its sister team in 2010. The team changed its name to Scuderia AlphaTauri in 2020 to promote parent company Red Bull's fashion label of the same name.
The Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has participated in Formula One, as an engine manufacturer and team owner, for various periods since 1964. Honda's involvement in Formula One began as a full team and engine entry in the 1964 season, and in 1965 they achieved their first victory at the Mexican Grand Prix. After further success with John Surtees, Honda withdrew at the end of the 1968 season due to difficulties selling road cars in the United States and Honda driver Jo Schlesser's fatal accident.
The Toro Rosso STR4 was a Formula One car which Scuderia Toro Rosso used in the 2009 Formula One season. The car was revealed to be a Red Bull RB5 with a 2008-spec Ferrari 056 engine in Barcelona on March 9, 2009. It was revealed before the testing session.
Daniil Vyacheslavovich Kvyat is a Russian professional racing driver racing, driving with an Italian licence for Lamborghini Iron Lynx in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, and part-time for SS-Green Light Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Kvyat competed in Formula One between 2014–2017 and 2019–2020. He became the second Formula One driver from Russia and is the most successful of the three Russian drivers to date, with three podiums.

Hendrik Johannes Nicasius "Nyck" de Vries is a Dutch racing driver currently competing for Toyota Gazoo Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and Mahindra Racing in Formula E. He won the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship and the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship as well as the 2010 and 2011 Karting World Championships. He was signed to the McLaren Young Driver Programme from January 2010 until May 2019. De Vries made his Formula One debut in September 2022 as a substitute for Williams at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix. He joined Scuderia AlphaTauri for the 2023 season but was released after the 2023 British Grand Prix – the 10th race of that 22-race season.
Naoki Yamamoto is a Japanese racing driver for Honda Racing Corporation, currently driving in Super GT with Team Kunimitsu and in Super Formula with Nakajima Racing. He is a three-time champion in Super Formula and a two-time champion in the GT500 class of Super GT. Yamamoto is also the only driver to have won both the Super Formula and GT500 championships in the same season multiple times, a feat which he accomplished in 2018 and 2020.

Pierre Jean-Jacques Gasly is a French racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Alpine. He won the 2016 GP2 Series championship, and finished as runner-up in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series and the 2017 Super Formula Championship.

Liam Lawson is a New Zealand motor racing driver currently serving as a reserve driver for Red Bull Racing and RB Formula One Team. Lawson, who is mentored by three-time New Zealand Grand Prix winner Ken Smith, previously competed for the Carlin team in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, where he finished third in 2022. He is a previous Toyota Racing Series champion and former member of the Red Bull Junior Team, In 2021, he also raced for the Red Bull AF Corse team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, partnering Alex Albon, narrowly missing out on the championship in the last round. He is also the runner-up during the 2023 Super Formula Championship with Team Mugen.

Yuki Tsunoda is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Formula One for the RB Formula One Team. Supported by Honda since 2016 through the Honda Formula Dream Project, he was the 2018 Japanese F4 champion and in 2019 also received backing from Red Bull. He finished third in the 2020 Formula 2 Championship and made his Formula One debut in 2021 for AlphaTauri.

As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F2 2018.

The constructor was rebranded for the 2020 Formula One World Championship from "Toro Rosso" to "AlphaTauri" in order to promote Red Bull's AlphaTauri fashion brand. According to Franz Tost and Helmut Marko, the rebrand as Scuderia AlphaTauri also acknowledged that it had transitioned from Red Bull Racing's junior team to its sister team. Throughout its history, the team has only scored one victory and two podiums, all scored by Pierre Gasly, winning the 2020 Italian Grand Prix and placing third in the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The team was rebranded as RB in 2024.

The 2023 British Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race that was held on 9 July 2023 at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England. It was the tenth round of the 2023 Formula One World Championship.
The AlphaTauri AT04 is a Formula One car constructed by Scuderia AlphaTauri for the 2023 Formula One World Championship. The car was driven by Nyck de Vries and Yuki Tsunoda up to the 2023 British Grand Prix, then Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo from the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix onwards with Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri reserve driver Liam Lawson also driving the car from the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix to the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix after Ricciardo broke a bone in his hand in the second free practice session of the Dutch event requiring Lawson to replace him. The AT04 is the fourth and final chassis built and designed by AlphaTauri and was unveiled on 11 February 2023 in New York City. The car also marked the return of Honda as a named engine supplier to Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri, with both teams' engines badged as Honda RBPT.
