The 2025 Texas State Bobcats football team represents Texas State University in the Sun Belt Conference's West Division during the 2025 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bobcats are led by G. J. Kinne in his third year as the head coach. The Bobcats play home games at the UFCU Stadium, located in San Marcos, Texas.

Contents

The 2025 season will be the last the Bobcats will play as members of the Sun Belt. After having turned down an invitation to join the Mountain West Conference, the Bobcats accepted an invitation to join the Pac-12 Conference for all athletic programs beginning with the 2026–27 academic year. Coaching changes

On December 6, 2024, offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich was hired for the same position at Texas Tech. [4] On January 16, 2025, Landon Keopple was promoted from Director of Recruiting/Assistant Quarterbacks Coach to offensive coordinator. [5]
