Alstom Crespin, formerly Bombardier Transport France and ANF Industrie, is a French rolling stock manufacturer based at Crespin, in Hauts-de-France region, France. The company was acquired by Bombardier Transportation in 1989, then by Alstom in 2021.

The Société Franco-Belge was a Franco-Belgian engineering firm that specialised in the construction of railway vehicles and their components and accessories. The company originated in 1859 as the Belgian firm Compagnie Belge pour la Construction de Machines et de Matériels de Chemins de Fer, founded by Charles Evrard. The company expanded its share capital in 1881 forming a new firm Société Anonyme Franco-Belge pour la Construction de Machines et de Matériel de Chemins de Fer and constructed a factory in Raismes (Valenciennes) in the Département Nord in France.
Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Midi was a state-owned French aircraft manufacturer. The company was formed following the resolution of the 1936 general strike of French heavy industry, when the government of Léon Blum introduced an act to nationalize the French war industry on or before April 1, 1937. The former Dewoitine aircraft company was placed under government control, and renamed SNCAM. The company had been formed as one of six state-owned Société Nationales in the 1936 nationalistation of military industries, in late 1940 these were re-organised and SNCAM was absorbed by SNCASE. SNCASE later merged with SNCASO to form Sud Aviation. Through subsequent mergers, SNCAM's former holdings are now part of the Airbus group.
The ANF Les Mureaux 140T was a French postal monoplane first flown in September 1932. It was a high-wing monoplane powered by three 120 hp (89 kW) Salmson 9Ac radial engines. It had room for six passengers or four plus freight or mail but it did not enter production.

The ANF Les Mureaux 180 was a prototype French fighter aircraft of the 1930s. designed and built by Les Ateliers de Construction du Nord de la France et des Mureaux. It was a single-engined, two-seat, gull wing monoplane, only one was built and the programme was abandoned as obsolete.
René Couzinet was a French aeronautics engineer and aircraft manufacturer, inventor with 91 patented registered inventions. The Société des Avions René Couzinet manufactured a range of Couzinet aircraft during the 1920s and 1930s.
The Les Mureaux 3 C.2 and Les Mureaux 4 C.2 were French two seat, parasol winged fighters, flown in 1927-8, which differed only in their engines. They were developed into near identical army co-operation types, the ANF Les Mureaux 130 A.2 and ANF Les Mureaux 131 A.2, in 1929–31.
The Ateliers et Chantiers de France was a major shipyard that was established in Dunkirk, France, in 1898. The shipyard boomed in the period before World War I (1914–18), but struggled in the inter-war period. It was badly damaged during World War II (1939–45). In the first thirty years after the war the shipyard again experienced a boom and employed up to 3,000 workers making oil tankers, and then liquid natural gas tankers. Demand dropped off in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1972 the shipyard became Chantiers de France-Dunkerque, and in 1983 merged with others yards to become part of Chantiers du Nord et de la Mediterranee, or Normed. The shipyard closed in 1987.
