Aeolesthes is a genus of beetles belonging to the family Cerambycidae. [1]
The species of this genus are found in Southeastern Asia and Australia. [1]
The limits of the genus were redefined in 2017, removing most of the species formerly in the genus, and placing them into other genera, such as Derolus , Dymasius , Pseudaeolesthes , and Trirachys . [1]
The family Oedemeridae is a cosmopolitan group of beetles commonly known as false blister beetles, though some recent authors have coined the name pollen-feeding beetles. There are some 100 genera and 1,500 species in the family, mostly associated with rotting wood as larvae, though adults are quite common on flowers. The family was erected by Pierre André Latreille in 1810.
Lamiinae, commonly called flat-faced longhorns, are a subfamily of the longhorn beetle family (Cerambycidae). The subfamily includes over 750 genera, rivaled in diversity within the family only by the subfamily Cerambycinae.
The Disteniidae are a small family of beetles in the superfamily Chrysomeloidea, traditionally treated as a group within the Cerambycidae.
Lepturinae, the lepturine beetles, is a subfamily of the longhorn beetle family (Cerambycidae), containing about 150 genera worldwide. This lineage is most diverse in the Northern Hemisphere. Until recently the subfamily Necydalinae was included within the lepturines, but this has been recently recognized as a separate subfamily. Nine tribes are usually recognized today, with a tenth, Caraphiini, created in 2016. A few genera are of uncertain placement within the subfamily.
Cerambycini is a tribe of longhorn beetles classified under the subfamily Cerambycinae.
Asemini is a tribe of beetles in the subfamily Spondylidinae, containing the following genera and species:
Opsimini is a tribe of beetles in the subfamily Cerambycinae, containing the following genera and species:
Uracanthus is a genus of beetles in the subfamily Cerambycinae, containing over 40 described species.
Gyaritini is a tribe of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae. It was described by Breuning in 1956.
Pterolophosoma is an extinct genus of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, containing a single known species, Pterolophosoma otiliae. It was described by Vitali in 2006 who found it in a Dominican amber dating to Early Miocene.
Yimnashana is a genus of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae. The genus Tinkhamia is included as a subgenus.
Yimnashana hamulata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae.
Archeogyaritus andrei is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, and the type species of its genus. It was described by Gouverneur and Vitali in 2016.
Arachnogyaritus is a genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae.
Arachnogyaritus celestini is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, and the type species of its genus. It was described by Gouverneur and Vitali in 2016. It is known from Laos.
Arachnogyaritus saleuii is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Gouverneur and Vitali in 2016. It is known from Laos.
Acalolepta griseofasciata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Stephan von Breuning in 1935, originally under the genus Dihammus. It is known from Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands.
Aeolesthes sarta, commonly known as the city longhorn beetle, is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, the longhorn beetles.
Aridaeus is a genus of beetles belonging to the family Cerambycidae.
Aridaeus sumbaensis is a species of longhorn beetle belonging to the family Cerambycidae that is found in Indonesia. It was first documented by Gérard Chemin and Francesco Vitali in 2013.
