Aglaopus is a genus of moth in the Thyrididae family, [1] first described in 1911 by Alfred Jefferis Turner. [1] [2] The type species is Aglaopus niphocosma . [1]

Species of this genus are found in Australia, the islands to its north, South East Asia, and India. [3]
