Alex Dowdalls (born 30 January 1960) is a Scottish cricket umpire. [1] [2] [3] He stood in matches during the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in Jersey. [4] [5]

On 15 January 2017 he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut in a match between Oman and the Netherlands in the 2017 Desert T20 Challenge. [6] His first One Day International (ODI) match as an umpire was between the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong on 26 January 2017. [7] He was one of the eight on-field umpires for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. [8]

In August 2019, during the 2019 Scotland Tri-Nation Series, Dowdalls umpired in his 250th international match, the most by any Scottish umpire. [9]

Mark Robert James Watt is a Scottish cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Ireland on 18 June 2015. He made his List A debut in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 31 July 2015 against Nepal. On 5 February 2016 he took his first five-wicket haul in a T20I match, picking up five wickets for 27 runs against the Netherlands in the UAE. He made his first-class debut in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 9 August 2016 against the United Arab Emirates. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Hong Kong on 8 September 2016.

Sufyan Mehmood is an Omani cricketer, who plays for the Oman national cricket team. He played in the 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament. He made his Twenty20 International debut for Oman against Hong Kong on 26 November 2015. He made his List A debut for Oman in their three-match series against the United Arab Emirates in October 2016.

Zeeshan Maqsood is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the Oman national cricket team and is the captain of the national team. He has played for the national team since 2012 and represented Oman at the 2016 and 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cups. In January 2022, the International Cricket Council (ICC) named Maqsood as the ICC Men's Associate Cricketer of the Year.

Ghulam Shabber is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his List A debut for the United Arab Emirates cricket team in their three-match series against Oman in October 2016. He retired from cricket in October 2019, mid-way through the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament, and in September 2021, he was handed a four-year ban from the sport in relation to corruption.

Imran Haider is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his List A debut for the United Arab Emirates cricket team in their three-match series against Oman in October 2016.

The 2017 Desert T20 Challenge was an international Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 14 to 20 January 2017. The eight Associate Members of the International Cricket Council that have T20I status were scheduled to take part. However, Papua New Guinea declined to participate and were replaced by Namibia. Therefore, matches with Namibia were played as Twenty20 matches.

Hamza Tahir is a Scottish cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Scotland against Pakistan on 12 June 2018. He made his List A debut for Scotland against Oman on 20 February 2019, following the 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series.

Aritra Dutta is a Singaporean cricketer. In October 2018, he was named in Singapore's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman. He played in Singapore's opening fixture of the tournament, against Oman on 10 November 2018. He was the leading run-scorer for Singapore in the tournament, with 204 runs in five matches.

Adrian Neill is a Scottish cricketer. In January 2019, he was named in Scotland's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series in Oman. He made his T20I debut for Scotland against Oman on 17 February 2019. He took three wickets and was named the player of the match. He made his List A debut for Scotland against Oman on 19 February 2019, following the 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series.

Rahul Asher is an Indian-born cricket umpire based in Oman. In July 2017, Asher was selected to officiate in matches in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup qualification tournament in Singapore. He was one of the umpires who officiated in matches in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman. In April 2018, he was appointed to the Development Panel of ICC Umpires.
