The Anne Arundel County Delegation refers to the members of the Maryland House of Delegates who reside in or represent legislative districts that are made of all or parts of Anne Arundel County, Maryland in the United States of America. Three delegates are elected from each district, though some districts are divided into sub-districts.
The Delegation is responsible for representing the interests, needs and concerns of the citizens of Anne Arundel County in the Maryland House of Delegates, the lower chamber of the Maryland General Assembly. [1] [2] [3]

The Maryland House of Delegates is the lower house of the legislature of the U.S. state of Maryland. It consists of 141 delegates elected from 47 districts. The House of Delegates Chamber is in the Maryland State House on State Circle in Annapolis. The State House also houses the Maryland State Senate and the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the State of Maryland. Each delegate has offices in Annapolis, in the nearby Casper R. Taylor Jr. House Office Building.
Tony McConkey is a former elected official in the Maryland House of Delegates. He was first elected in 2002, taking the seat of former Delegate Janet Greenip, who ran for a State Senate seat. He served in District 33, which is located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He lost a bid for re-election in 2018 to Democratic challenger Heather Bagnall.
Gail Bates was a member of the Maryland Senate from 2015 to 2019 and a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from 2002 to 2015. She was selected to replace Robert Kittleman in the Maryland House of Delegates in February 2002 when Kittleman was selected to replace Chris McCabe in the Maryland State Senate. In a close election in 2018, Bates was defeated by non-profit executive Katie Fry Hester by 1.7 percentage points. Bates was nominated to serve on the state Board of Education by Gov. Larry Hogan in February 2019.
Steven R. Schuh is a former County Executive of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and a former member of the Maryland House of Delegates, serving two terms in the Maryland General Assembly representing District 31. Beginning in 2018, Schuh served as the Executive Director for the State of Maryland's Opioid Operational Command Center before assuming the role of Deputy Secretary for Health Care Financing and Medicaid in 2021. Schuh also played an instrumental role in the State's response to the pandemic serving as Section Chief for the Governor's COVID-19 Task Force.
The Prince George's County Delegation refers to the delegates who are elected from districts in Prince George's County, Maryland to serve in the Maryland House of Delegates.
The Baltimore County Delegation refers to the members of the Maryland House of Delegates who reside in or represent legislative districts that include parts of Baltimore County, Maryland in the United States of America. Three delegates are elected from each district, though some districts are divided into sub-districts.
The Western Maryland Delegation refers to the members of the Maryland House of Delegates who reside in or represent legislative districts that include parts of Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick or Carroll counties in the state of Maryland, United States of America. Three delegates are elected from each district, though some districts are divided into sub-districts.
The Eastern Shore Delegation refers to the members of the Maryland House of Delegates who reside in or represent legislative districts that are in or include parts of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the United States of America. Three delegates are elected from each district, though some districts are divided into sub-districts. The counties that are considered to be apart of the Eastern Shore are Caroline County, Cecil County, Dorchester County, Kent County, Queen Anne's County, Somerset County, Talbot County, Wicomico County, and Worcester County.
Herbert H. McMillan is a Republican former member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 30 in Anne Arundel County, MD from 2003 to 2007 and from 2011 to 2019. He served alongside Democrat Michael E. Busch and Republican Ron George. In 2006 he challenged District 30 Senator John Astle, a Democrat, who defeated him 53 percent to 47 percent. In 2022, McMillan unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination for Anne Arundel County executive.
Seth Adam Howard is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from District 30B since 2015.
Edward "Ned" Carey is an American politician who was Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 31A, based in Anne Arundel County, from 2015 to 2023.
Mark Soo Chang is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 32 since 2015.
Shaneka Tarae Johnson is an American politician and attorney who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 30A since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as an alderwoman on the Annapolis City Council from 2017 to 2019.
Michael J. Rogers is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Maryland's District 32 in Anne Arundel County.
Juanita Sandra Bartlett is an American politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 32 since 2019.
Heather Alice Bagnall Tudball is an American politician from the Democratic Party and is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing parts of Anne Arundel County. She represented the 33rd district from 2019 to 2023, afterwards being redrawn into District 33C.
Dana Celeste Jones is an American politician who is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates from District 30A.
Brian Alan Chisholm is an American politician who represents northern Anne Arundel County in the Maryland House of Delegates. A member of the Republican Party, he represented District 31B from 2019 to 2023, afterwards representing the 31st district.
Rachel Parker Muñoz is an American politician who has served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, she initially represented the 33rd district from 2021 to 2023, and has since represented the 31st district.
Andrew Christopher Pruski is an American politician. He is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 33A in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He was previously a member of the Anne Arundel County Council from 2014 to 2022, serving as its chair from 2018 to 2019 and its vice-chair from 2021 to 2022.
