Aqasi Kandy (Persian : اقاسي كندئ‎, also Romanized as Āqāsī Kandy; also known as Āghāsī Kandī and Āqā Kandī)^[1] is a village in Firuraq Rural District, in the Central District of Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Firuraq Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,116, in 2,590 families. The rural district has 19 villages.
