The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the world governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England and South Africa. It was renamed as the International Cricket Conference in 1965, and took up its current name in 1989. It organises world championship events such as World Test Championship, Cricket World Cup, Women's Cricket World Cup, ICC T20 World Cup, ICC Women's T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
The Elite Panel of ICC Umpires is a panel of cricket umpires appointed by the International Cricket Council to officiate in Test matches and One Day Internationals around the world. The panel was first established in April 2002 when the ICC decided to reform the way that international cricket was umpired. The main change was that both umpires in a Test match and one of the umpires in a One Day International are now independent of the competing nations, whereas before 2002 just one of the umpires in a Test was independent and in ODIs both umpires were from the home nation. The majority of these ICC appointments are fulfilled by the members of the Elite Panel, who are generally thought to be the best umpires in the world. As such the ICC hopes to ensure that umpiring standards are as high as possible. Members of the panel stand in around 10 Tests and 15 ODIs each year. The list of umpires in the panel is revised every year by the ICC Umpires Selection Panel.
The German national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Germany in international cricket. The German Cricket Federation, which organises the team, has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1999, having previously been an affiliate member from 1991. The national team made its international debut against Denmark in 1989, playing as West Germany. It has since played regularly in European Cricket Championship tournaments, as well as twice in the lower divisions of the World Cricket League. In 2001, Germany also competed in the ICC Trophy for the first and only time.
Karumanaseri Narayanaiyer Ananthapadmanabhan is an Indian former first-class cricketer from the state of Kerala played for India "A" national team in the international cricket and for South zone & Kerala in the Indian domestic cricket. He is the former captain of Kerala state Ranji trophy team. He now serves as an umpire at the first-class level and officiates in all the major domestic cricket tournaments in India, including the Ranji Trophy and Indian Premier League. In August 2020, Ananthapadmanabhan was promoted to the International Panel of ICC Umpires.
Marais Erasmus is a South African former first-class cricketer who is currently serving as an international cricket umpire. He is a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and stands in matches of all three formats of international cricket – Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Niels Gunnar Bagh is a Danish cricket umpire who serves on the ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires panel. Bagh first officiated a match of note in 2001 when Staffordshire played the Worcestershire Cricket Board in a List A match in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. Four years later, Bagh stood in his first first-class fixture, which was between the Netherlands and Scotland in the 2005 Intercontinental Cup. From 2005 to 2010, Bagh has stood in 12 further Intercontinental Cup matches.
The 2014 ICC World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed the final part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2015 World Cup. The top two teams qualified for the World Cup, joining Ireland and for the first time Afghanistan, both of whom already qualified through the 2011–13 ICC World Cricket League Championship and maintained their ODI status. The World Cup Qualifier was the final event of the 2009–14 World Cricket League. It was staged in New Zealand, from 13 January to 1 February 2014 after Scotland relinquished the right to host it. Scotland was originally scheduled to host the tournament in July and August 2013.
Sundaram Ravi is an Indian cricket umpire from who was a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires between 2015 and 2019. After making his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut in 2011, he officiated in over 100 international matches at Test, One Day International (ODI) and T20I level.
Courtney Young is a Caymanian cricket umpire who sits on the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. He made his first-class umpiring debut in 2004, and has since regularly umpired in International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments.
Andrew Wynand Louw is a Namibian cricket umpire who sits on the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. He made his first-class umpiring debut in 2006, and he regularly umpires in International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments and other competitions in which the Namibian national side participates.
Roland Black is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He has been an umpire since 2006. He was added to ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel in 2016.
Alex Dowdalls is a Scottish cricket umpire. He stood in matches during the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in Jersey.
Hubertus Karel Gerardus "Huub" Jansen is a Dutch cricket umpire. Jansen serves as a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel of Umpires representing the Netherlands.
Alan James Neill is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. Neill serves as a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel of Umpires representing Ireland.
Pim van Liemt is a Dutch cricket umpire and former cricketer, who serves as a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires Panel. He was shortlisted as the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond Umpire of the Year in 2014, and won the award in 2015. He umpired in the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Five. In his playing career, van Liemt played one match for Netherlands U-19 against Bermuda U-19; opening the batting, van Liemt scored 20. He stood as an umpire at the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier.
Alu Kapa is a cricket umpire from Papua New Guinea. He is currently a member of ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. Kapa has stood in matches in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. In October 2016 he was selected as one of the eight umpires to stand in matches in the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match between Papua New Guinea and Scotland on 24 November 2017. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match between the Philippines and Vanuatu in the Regional Final of the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament on 23 March 2019.
Lakani Oala is a cricket umpire from Papua New Guinea. He is currently a member of ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. Oala has stood in matches in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. In October 2016 he was selected as one of the eight umpires to stand in matches in the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) on 6 October 2017, in the match between Papua New Guinea and Scotland in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.

Ian Thomson is an Australian cricket umpire. Thomson serves as a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel of Umpires representing Hong Kong.
Vinay Kumar Jha is a Nepalese cricket umpire. He is one of the umpires on the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel chosen by the International Cricket Council (ICC). He stood in matches in the 2009 ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament and he stood in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship fixtures between Nepal and Kenya in March 2017.
