Hubertus Karel Gerardus "Huub" Jansen (born 30 September 1962) is a Dutch former cricket umpire. [1] [2] Jansen served on the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel of Umpires representing the Netherlands. [3] He retired from umpiring in September 2021. [4]

Umpiring career

Jansen officiated in matches during the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in Jersey in May 2016. [5] [6]

On 16 June 2018, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut, in a match between Ireland and Scotland. [7] On 3 August 2018, he umpired in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between the Netherlands and Nepal. [8] In April 2019, he was named as one of the eight on-field umpires for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. [9]

The 2018 international cricket season was from May 2018 to September 2018. 16 Test matches, 27 One-day Internationals (ODIs) and 33 Twenty20 International (T20Is), as well as 14 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 81 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period.

The 2018–19 international cricket season was from September 2018 to April 2019. 34 Test matches, 92 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 74 Twenty20 International (T20Is), as well as 28 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 130 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period. The season started with India leading the Test cricket rankings, England leading the ODI rankings and Pakistan leading the Twenty20 rankings. In October 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) introduced separate rankings for women's ODIs and T20Is for the first time, with Australia women leading both tables.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rohit Paudel</span> Nepali cricketer

Rohit Kumar Paudel is a Nepalese cricketer and the current captain of the Nepal national cricket team. He made his List A debut for Nepal in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament on 8 February 2018. He was inspired to play cricket after Nepal played in the ICC T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. In January 2019, Kumar became the youngest male cricketer to score an international half-century. The record was broken in February 2020, by his team-mate Kushal Malla. He is the all-time highest run scorer of Nepal in the ODI format and the first Nepalese player to score 1,000 runs in ODI cricket. He was named captain of the Nepal cricket team in November 2022.

Anil Kumar Sah is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut for Nepal in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament on 12 February 2018. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.

Rizwan Akram is a Dutch former cricketer and now an umpire. In April 2018, he was appointed to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Panel of Development Umpires. He was one of the umpires for the 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series. On 12 June 2018, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut, in a match between the Netherlands and Ireland. On 1 August 2018, he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between the Netherlands and Nepal.
