Claude Thorburn (born 23 February 1987) is a Namibian cricket umpire. [1] He has stood as an umpire in domestic first-class and List A matches in Namibia and South Africa. [2] [3] He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Papua New Guinea and the United States, in the third-place playoff in the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. [4] His Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut was in a match between Namibia and Botswana, on 20 August 2019. [5]

The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested by six teams; Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Papua New Guinea, the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. Namibia won the tournament, after they beat Oman by 145 runs in the final. It was Namibia's first win in an ODI match, and it was the first ever ODI match played by Oman.

Simon Atai is a Papua New Guinean cricketer. In December 2017, he was named in Papua New Guinea's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was the leading run-scorer for Papua New Guinea in the tournament, with 116 runs in six matches.

Ameer Saiyed is a Botswana cricketer. He played in four matches in the 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament in England. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Botswana against Namibia on 19 August 2019 during Botswana's tour of Namibia.
