The United States National Professional Road Race Championships began in 1985. They are run by the governing body, USA Cycling. Until 2006 the race was open to all nationalities, the first American to finish being named the winner and given a distinctive jersey. Since the championship in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2006, all riders have had to be American.

South African National Road Race Championships National road cycling championship in South Africa

The South African National Road Race Championship is a road bicycle race that takes place inside the South African National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The first race winner of the road race championship was Malcolm Lange in 1995; Malcolm Lange is the only cyclist to have won the championships three times. The women's record is held by Anriette Schoeman with 7 wins.

Julie Leth Danish cyclist

Julie Leth is a Danish racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Ceratizit–WNT Pro Cycling. She competed in the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence. German National Road Race Championships

The German National Road Race Championship is a cycling race organized by the German Cycling Federation. The event was established in 1910, with the women's championship starting in 1968. No competitions were held in 1914–1918, 1926/1927, 1929–1933, 1942–1945 and 1973. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey.
