The Russian National Time Trial Championships are an annual cycling race which decides the Russian cycling champion in the time trial discipline for several categories of rider. Artem Ovechkin holds the men's record of most victories with 5, while the women's record is held by Zulfiya Zabirova and Tatiana Antoshina with six victories. The current champions are Alexander Evtushenko and Tamara Dronova.

Visma–Lease a Bike is a Dutch professional bicycle racing team, successor of the former Rabobank. The team consists of four sections: ProTeam, Women's Team, Development Team, and cyclo-cross.
Eleonora Maria "Ellen" van Dijk is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Lidl–Trek. Besides road cycling she was also a track cyclist until 2012. Van Dijk is known as a time trial specialist and is five times world champion. She won her first world title on the track in the scratch race in 2008. She became Road World Champion in 2012, 2013 and 2016 with her respective trade teams in the team time trial and in 2013 also in the individual time trial. In 2015, she won the time trial at the first European Games and the silver medal in the team time trial at the world championships.
Marianne Vos is a Dutch multi-discipline cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Team Visma–Lease a Bike.
The 2006 Dutch National Track Championships were the Dutch national Championship for track cycling. The competitions took place at Sportpaleis Alkmaar in Alkmaar, the Netherlands from December 28 to December 30. Competitions were held of various track cycling disciplines in different age, gender and disability categories.
Lars Anthonius Johannes Boom is a professional cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing cyclist from the Netherlands. He has also competed professionally in road racing, having raced between 2004 and 2019.
The Spanish National Time Trial Championship is a time trial race that takes place inside the Spanish National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The time trial championships in Spain have not been held for as long as the Spanish National Road Race Championships, which first took place in 1897. The first race winner of the time trial championship was Abraham Olano in 1994. Jonathan Castroviejo holds the record for the most wins in the men's championship with five titles, followed by Iván Gutiérrez and Luis León Sánchez, with both riders winning four titles. The women's record is held by Teodora Ruano with 7 wins. The current champions are Raúl García Pierna and Margarita Victoria García.
The Australian National Road Race Championships, are held annually with an event for each category of bicycle rider: Men, Women & under 23 riders. The event also includes the Australian National Time Trial Championships since 2002. The Australian Championships were officially known as the Scody Australian Open Road Cycling Championships from 1999 to 2010, taking the name of their main sponsor. This changed to the Mars Cycling Australia Road National Championships from 2011 but they are more commonly referred to as The Nationals. The under 23 championships were introduced in 2001. Note that these results do not currently include the senior and junior amateur road race championships that were held prior to the open era.

The British National Time Trial Championships for cycling are held annually. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic white cycling jersey featuring blue and red stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other time trial events in the country to show their status as national champion. The champion's stripes can be combined into a sponsored rider's team kit design for this purpose.
Emma Jane Pooley is a British-Swiss athlete in multiple sports. A former professional cyclist who specialised in time trials and hilly races, she later transferred to endurance running, duathlon and triathlon, and was four-times world champion in long-distance duathlon. She competes in long-distance and uphill mountain running and has represented Switzerland at the world trailrunning championships.

The Luxembourgish National Time Trial Championship is a time trial race that takes place inside the Luxembourgish National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The first edition took place in 1999 as a men's only competition, won by Christian Poos. Bob Jungels holds the record for the most wins in the men's championship with seven. The women's record is held by Christine Majerus with sixteen wins, including every year following the initial women's championship in 2006.
Jolanda Neff is a Swiss cyclist, who primarily rides in the cross-country cycling and cyclo-cross disciplines, for the Trek Factory Racing team. She won the gold medal in the women's cross-country event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Floortje Mackaij is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Movistar Team.
Tamara Dronova is a Russian track and road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Roland Cycling in road racing, and UCI Track Team Marathon–Tula in track cycling. After winning several medals as a junior and under-23 at the European Track Championships she won as an elite rider the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the 2014 UEC European Track Championships. Besides track cycling she also rides on the road and competed in 2013 at the Russian National Road Race Championships and Russian National Time Trial Championships.
Jeffrey Hoogland is a Dutch track cyclist. He represented his nation in eleven editions of the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. At the 2015 UEC European Track Championships, he collected a total of three gold medals, individually in the sprint and the 1 km time trial, and with Nils van 't Hoenderdaal and Hugo Haak in the team sprint. On 31 Oct 2023, Hoogland beat the 10 year old 1 km world record with the time of 55.433 sec.

Marathon–Tula is a Russian UCI track team founded in 2017. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the UCI said that Russian teams are forbidden from competing in international events.
The 2021 national road cycling championships were held throughout the year and were organised by the UCI member federations. They began in Qatar with the men's time trial event on 26 January.
