Bactrothrips is a genus of thrips in the family Phlaeothripidae, first described by Heinrich Hugo Karny in 1912. ^{[2] [3]} In 2011, Mound and Tree synonymised the genus, Lasiothrips, with Bactrothrips ^{[1] [4]}
