The Belize Athletic Association (BAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Belize. [1]

History

BAA was founded in 1956 as Belize Amateur Athletic Association (BAAA). [2] In 2013, the name was changed to Belize Athletic Association. [3]

In August 2010, Ian Gray was elected as new president. [4] However, there was an ongoing internal dispute between board officials claiming the lead of BAAA [5] [6] leading to the executive been dissolved by the IAAF. In October 2013, a new executive was elected with Hugh ”Pinas” Staine as new president. [3]

The Nicaraguan Athletics Federation is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Nicaragua. Current president is Xiomara Larios. She was re-elected in December 2012.

Guatemalan Athletics Federation

The Guatemalan Athletics Federation is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Guatemala. Current president is Max Leonel Mollinedo Ticas (2018-2022).

Cuban Athletics Federation

The Cuban Athletics Federation is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Cuba. Current president is Alberto Juantorena. He was re-elected in December 2010.

Haitian Amateur Athletic Federation

The Haitian Amateur Athletic Federation (FHAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Haïti. Current president is Alain Jean Pierre.

Bermuda National Athletics Association

The Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Bermuda. Current president is Donna Raynor. She was elected for the first time in 2009.

Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations

The Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations (BAAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in the Bahamas. Current president is Rosamunde Carey. She was elected on 28 November 2015 for the period 2015-2018. She becomes the first woman elected to the position

The Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in the Cayman Islands. Current president is Dalton Watler-Lyons.

The Turks & Caicos Islands Amateur Athletic Association (TCIAAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Current president is Edith Skippings. She was elected in 2011.

The Anguilla Amateur Athletic Federation (AAAF) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Anguilla. Current president is Lorna Rogers.

The Dominica Amateur Athletic Association (DAAA) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in the Commonwealth of Dominica. Current president is Godwin Dorsette. He was elected in December 2015.
