Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the Energy Commission of Sabah (ECOS) since February 2023. He served as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department for Sabah and Sarawak Affairs for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022,the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to August 2021 as well as for National Unity and Integration in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi from March 2004 to March 2008 and the Minister of Energy,Green Technology and Water in the BN administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak from May 2013 to May 2018,Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Marudu from March 2004 to November 2022 and for Bandau from April 1995 to March 2004. He is the 2nd President and a member of the United Sabah Party (PBS),a component party of the Sabah People's Alliance (GRS).
Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd Shafie bin Apdal is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Semporna since April 1995,State Leader of the Opposition of Sabah since September 2020 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Senallang since May 2018. He served as the 15th Chief Minister and the State Minister of Finance of Sabah from May 2018 to September 2020,Minister of Rural and Regional Development from April 2009 to July 2015 and Vice-President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has served as the 1st and founding President of Heritage Party (WARISAN) since October 2016. He lost the power as Chief Minister of Sabah following the defeat of his coalition WARISAN + in the 2020 state election.
Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Gapari Kitingan(born 22 October 1948,also known as DDJK or DSPDJK since 2021) is Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah I since January 2023 and State Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Sabah for the second term since September 2020. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah II from October 2020 to his promotion in January 2023 and the first term in the position in May 2018. In January 2023,he was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister I of Sabah succeeding Bung Mokhtar,who was dropped due to a political crisis. At the federal level,he served as the Deputy Minister of Tourism,Arts and Culture from March 2020 to his resignation in September 2020 and Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government from August 1994 to May 1995. He has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Keningau since May 2018,Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tambunan since May 2018 and Bingkor from May 2013 to May 2018. He has served and been founding President of the Homeland Solidarity Party (STAR),a component party of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and a former component party of the federal and state ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition,since July 2016.
Sabah People's United Front or in Malay Parti Bersatu Rakyat Jelata Sabah is more commonly known by its abbreviation BERJAYA,was a political party based in the state of Sabah,Malaysia. BERJAYA was formed by former United Sabah National Organisation (USNO) secretary-general Harris Salleh who was later joined by Fuad Stephens,who served as the first Chief Minister of Sabah as well as president of the United Pasokmomogun Kadazan Organisation (UPKO). Stephens became the fifth Chief Minister after BERJAYA won the 1976 state election in April but died in June the same year,being succeeded by Salleh. The party had been a partner of Barisan Nasional (BN),the then ruling coalition of Malaysia since its inception on 15 July 1975.

He is the Minister for Resource Development and Information Technology in the state government of Sabah,and represents the seat of Paginatan in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly. From 2008 to 2013 he was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Ranau constituency. He is a member of the United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO) party in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Kurup was a Malaysian politician who served as 1st and founding President of the Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS),a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition from March 1994 to January 2023,Minister in the Prime Minister's Department,Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development in the BN administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak from March 2008 to May 2018. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pensiangan from March 2008 to May 2018. He also served as Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah,State Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries,State Minister of Communications and Works,State Minister of Finance,State Minister of Industrial Development,State Minister of Resource Development and Enterprise and State Minister of Youth and Sports of Sabah under former Chief Ministers Joseph Pairin Kitingan,Sakaran Dandai,Salleh Said Keruak,Yong Teck Lee,Bernard Giluk Dompok,Osu Sukam,Chong Kah Kiat and Musa Aman in the BN state administration from 1985 to 2004. He was a founding member of the PBRS and was a member of the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS). He was also the father of Arthur Joseph Kurup,the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security,Pensiangan MP and PBRS President. Kurup died in Kuala Lumpur on 17 April 2024,at the age of 79.
Ronald Kiandee is a Malaysian politician. A member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) and its Vice President since August 2020 and 2nd State Chairman of Sabah since December 2022,he has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beluran since November 1999. He served as Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He was reappointed to the same post for a second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 until the dissolution of the BN government in November 2022,when BN lost its reelection campaign in the 2022 general election. Prior to serving in the Cabinet,Kiandee was the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration from 2018 to 2019 and Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat I in the BN administration from 2008 to 2018. He is presently the sole MP of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party of Sabah and one of the only two Christian MPs of PN alongside Ali Biju.

He was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Batu Sapi constituency in Sabah,representing the United Sabah Party (PBS) in the governing Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition until his sudden death. He also held the post of treasurer-general and the Elopura division chief in PBS.

She also served as the State Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs of Sabah in the BN state administration under former Chief Minister Musa Aman from 2008 to 2013. In addition,she served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beaufort from March 2004 to March 2008 and again from May 2013 to November 2022 as well as Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Klias from March 2008 to May 2013. She is a member of the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN),a component party of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS),was a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) as well as formerly Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalitions and was a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the BN coalition. She left UMNO to be an independent in 2018 and later joined BERSATU in 2019 until 2022,and become official member of GAGASAN in 2023 after she left BERSATU in December 2022. She officially appointed a Women Chief of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) since 2023 after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of GRS in March 2023.

He is a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO),a component party of the PH coalition. He has served as the Honorary President of UPKO since January 2023,2nd President of UPKO from March 2014 to January 2023,when he served in the official capacity from September 2018 to January 2023 and acting capacity from March 2014 following the resignation of Bernard Giluk Dompok to his official assumption of UPKO presidency in September 2018.

He served as the Minister of International Trade and Industry in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Penampang from May 2013 to November 2022. He is a member of the Heritage Party (WARISAN) and was a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. He has also served as the 1st and founding Deputy President of the WARISAN since party foundation in October 2016.
The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation is a multiracial political party based in Sabah,Malaysia. The party was rebranded from its previous party's name,United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation using the same UPKO acronym;which was a widely known Kadazan-Dusun-Murut based party in 2019. The party had earlier been renamed once before in 1999 from its initial 1994 formation name of Sabah Democratic Party. In August 2021,UPKO has officially joined the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition as a component party. It is one of the four component parties of the Pakatan Harapan ruling coalition in Malaysia.
The 2020 Sabah state election took place on 26 September 2020 to elect all 73 elected members of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly. The previous Assembly was dissolved on 30 July 2020.
Ellron Alfred Angin is a Malaysian politician who has been the State Minister of Rural Development briefly in 2018 and currently the incumbent State Minister of Youth and Sports since 2020. He has served as the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sook since March 2008. He was formerly a member of the Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) which is aligned with the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition both in federal and state levels and now a member of the Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) since 2018.
Datuk Donald Peter Mojuntin is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who served as a Senator from December 2018 to December 2021,Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Moyog from March 2008 to May 2013 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Penampang from March 2004 to March 2008. He is a member of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. He has served as the Vice President of PH since August 2021 and Deputy President of UPKO since November 2019. He is also the son of former State Minister of Housing and Local Government of Sabah,Datuk Peter Joinod Mojuntin who died in the Sabah Air GAF Nomad crash on 6 June 1976.
