Biddick Academy (formerly Biddick School Sports College) is a coeducational secondary school and academy. The current headteacher is Kate Morris. The school has a specific area for special educational needs students called the Unity Centre. [1]

Burnt Mill Academy is a secondary school academy and specialist performing arts college situated on First Avenue in Harlow, Essex, England. The school originally opened in May 1962 as Burnt Mill Comprehensive School, de jure keeping this name until academisation in 2011. In 2003, it became a specialist performing arts college, specialising in dance, drama and music. It joined the Confucius institute programme in 2007, partnering with Suzhou Lida Middle School in Jiangsu, China. This granted the school an International School Award. It gained academy status in 2011 and formed the Burnt Mill Academy Trust (BMAT) in 2013. BMAT has since become a multi-academy trust, with 12 member schools as of 2021.
Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy is a mixed Church of England secondary school located in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. It is named after Bishop Ian Ramsey, a former Bishop of Durham. The new Head of the School is Brian Janes the Executive Headteacher is Gill Booth, who came to support Ian Ramsey from Venerable Bede in Sunderland after it was put into special measures by Ofsted, which led to the resignation of the former Headteacher Janet Wilson in May 2014. The school is always oversubscribed. Ian Ramsey Church of England School converted to academy status on 1 December 2014 and was renamed Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy.

Argyle House School is an independent school in North East England. It was founded in 1884. Though not in the original location, it is still in the same area, Thornhill, and borders Ashbrooke, about five minutes' walk away from Sunderland city centre. It caters for pupils from age 2 to 16, and at the time of the last inspection in 2018, had 122 boys and 118 girls in attendance.
William Edwards School, commonly referred to by locals and students as Willy Eds, is a coeducational secondary comprehensive school with academy status, in Grays, Essex, England. It is a founding member of the South West Essex Community Education Trust (SWECET) and is its leading member. The current headteacher of the school is Simon Bell.
