Big Brother (Russian : Большой Брат, Transliteration: Bolshoy Brat) was the Russian version of the reality show Big Brother in Russia. It was the licensed version produced by Endemol, and ran for only one season in 2005. [1]
Later on, changes were made and it resurfaced as Dom-2 ("House Two"), with little resemblance to the original.
The show started on 10 May 2005 and finished on 5 August 2005. It lasted for 88 Days. The program was broadcast every night at 20:00 on TNT. 17 housemates entered the House, with 3 housemates walking, and none being ejected. The winner was Anastasiya Yagaylova. Her prize was 10,000,000 RUB.

Big Brother is a reality competition television franchise created by John de Mol Jr., first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999 and subsequently syndicated internationally. The show features contestants called "housemates" or "HouseGuests" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The name is inspired by Big Brother from George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, and the housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, they are voted out until only one remains and wins the cash prize.

PinoyBig Brother is a Philippine television reality competition show broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. The series is based of Netherlands version of Big Brother. Initially hosted by Willie Revillame, Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez, the show premiered on August 21, 2005 on ABS-CBN. Since December 6, 2020, the show airs on Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Bida and Yes Weekend line ups. In the span of almost 20 years, the Philippine version has already aired 17 seasons. Currently, a after-show program will be premiered on December 06, 2024 on Monday called "PBB: Gen 11 BIG 4EVER" as the ex-gen housemates come back to Big Brother's house.
