Bogidiella is a genus of crustacean in the family Bogidiellidae, containing the following species: [1]
Thermosbaenacea is a group of crustaceans that live in thermal springs in fresh water, brackish water and anchialine habitats. They have occasionally been treated as a distinct superorder (Pancarida), but are generally considered to belong to the Peracarida. Due to their troglobitic lifestyle, thermosbaenaceans lack visual pigments and are therefore blind.
Gammaridae is a family of amphipods. In North America they are included among the folk taxonomic category of "scuds", and otherwise gammarids is usually used as a common name.
Elaphoidella is a genus of freshwater copepods in the family Canthocamptidae. It contains over 200 species, including three classified as vulnerable species by the IUCN – three endemic to Slovenia and one endemic to the United States. In total, the genus Elaphoidella contains the following species:
Gammarus is an amphipod crustacean genus in the family Gammaridae. It contains more than 200 described species, making it one of the most species-rich genera of crustaceans. Different species have different optimal conditions, particularly in terms of salinity, and different tolerances; Gammarus pulex, for instance, is a purely freshwater species, while Gammarus locusta is estuarine, only living where the salinity is greater than 25‰.
Ingolfiella is a genus of amphipod in the family Ingolfiellidae, containing the following species:
Metacyclops is a genus of copepod crustaceans in the family Cyclopidae, containing 61 species, of which three are listed on the IUCN Red List – M. campestris from Brazil, M. gasparoi from Italy (vulnerable) and M. postojnae from Slovenia (vulnerable).
Niphargus is by far the largest genus of its family, the Niphargidae, and the largest of all freshwater amphipod genera.
Nitocrella is a genus of copepod. Although most other genera in the family Ameiridae are marine, species of Nitocrella are almost exclusively found in subterranean fresh water or brackish water. More than 80 species are included in the genus, including two which are listed as vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List:
Proasellus is a genus of isopod crustaceans in the family Asellidae. Two of its species, P. parvulus and P. slovenicus, are Slovenian endemics which are listed as vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List.
Pseudoniphargus is a genus of crustacean in family Pseudoniphargidae. It contains the following species:
Niphargidae is a family of amphipod crustaceans. Its distribution is in western Eurasia, and its members mainly live in subterranean freshwaters habitats. It contains the following genera:
The Cirolanidae are a family of isopod crustaceans, including these genera:
Photidae is a family of amphipod crustaceans, containing the following genera:
Duvalius is a genus of beetles in the family Carabidae. They are distributed from the Mediterranean area to northwestern China. They typically live in caves and in shallow subterranean spaces. Many species are rare and have very restricted distributions.
Bogidiellidae is a family of amphipod crustaceans, containing the following genera:
Trechini is a large tribe of ground beetles in the family Carabidae. There are more than 270 genera and over 2,400 described species in Trechini, found throughout the world.
Maeridae is a family of marine amphipods, which was first described by Taudl Krapp-Schickel in 2008.
