CNCO is the second studio album by Latin American boyband CNCO, released on April 6, 2018, via Sony Latin. [1] Like their debut, it features Latin pop and reggaeton songs. [2] The album debuted at the top of the Billboard Top Latin Albums and in the top forty of the Billboard 200. [3]
In February 2018, CNCO presented the album cover and announced that pre-orders for the album would begin in early March of that year, alongside the promotional single "Mi Medicina". [1] [3]
The album was recorded while the band was on a world tour and at their home base in Miami. Edgar Barrera, Icon Music, The Swaggernautz, David Cabrera, Mario Caceres, Yasmil Marrufo, Andy Clay, Frank Santofimio, Dabruk Matt Rad, Max Borghetti and Pinto Wahin all collaborated with the group on the work. The group gained some creative control, with three of the members, Pimentel, Colón and De Jesús co-writing the song "Bonita", while the former co-wrote "No Me Sueltes"; both songs were also co-written with Camacho's brother, Yashua. On 4 April 2017, CNCO released "Hey DJ" as the lead single from the album. The song was released in two versions, with the original featuring Yandel. [4] The second version was titled the "Pop Version", and was released solo. [5] The music video was released on 28 April 2017 as of June 2021 has amassed over 343 million views. on YouTube. [6] "Hey DJ" charted at number fourteen on the US Latin chart and was certified 6× Platinum.
A remix of "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)", alongside British girl group Little Mix was released on 18 August 2017 as the second single from the album. [7] The song became CNCO's first hit in the United Kingdom, where it debuted and peaked at number five. [8] The video was released on 17 September 2017 and as of June 2021 has amassed over 338 million views. [9] "Reggaetón Lento" was certified platinum in the United Kingdom.
"Mamita" was released as the third single on 20 October 2017. [10] The music video was released on 18 January 2018 and as of May 2019 has achieved over 120 million views. "Sólo Yo" was the fourth single from the album. Its music video was released on 5 April 2018 to coincide with the album's release. [17]
"Se Vuelve Loca" was the fifth single from the album. Its music video was released on 19 July 2018. A Spanglish version of the song was released on 20 July 2018 but was not included on the album.
Before the release of the album, three promotional singles were released. "Mi Medicina" was available on 2 March 2018 alongside the album pre-order. [3] Its music video was released on the same day. [18] "Bonita" was released as the second promotional single on 16 March 2018, with its music video also released on the same day. [19] "Fiesta en Mi Casa" served as the final promotional single, arriving on 30 March 2018, a week before the album release. Once again, its music video arrived on the same day. [20]

The boyband embarked on the CNCO World Tour to support the album. It included three legs: Latin America, North America and Europe. The tour started on October 6, 2018, in Guatemala ended on December 7, 2019, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Underdog/El Subestimado is the second studio album by Tego Calderón on August 29, 2006. The first single of the album was titled "Los Maté", which has garnered much air-play on the radio. "Rakata" is the debut single by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, released on January 27, 2005, by Machete Music. It is from the Luny Tunes-produced compilation Mas Flow 2, and was later included on Wisin & Yandel's fifth studio album Pa'l Mundo. The song was produced by Luny Tunes and Nely "El Arma Secreta". It is known to be one of their signature songs, as well as being their first major-charting single. Since the single's release, it has become one of the top-selling singles of 2005 and 2006 during the mainstream success years of reggaeton music. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. Dangerous received a latin platinum certification in October 2016 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 60,000 copies sold in the United States. Joel Muñoz Martinez and Randy Ariel Ortiz Acevedo, best known as Jowell & Randy, is a reggaeton duo from San Juan, Puerto Rico. They met in 2000 and began working as a duo a year later, reaching international success in 2007 as members of Casa de Leones alongside compatriot rappers J King & Maximan and Guelo Star. Jowell & Randy's first studio album as duo, Los Más Sueltos del Reggaetón, was released in December 2007 under Warner Music Group and White Lion Records, a record label founded by Elías de Leon, one of reggaeton's most respected producers. However, their most successful album was El Momento, released in May 2010 under Wisin & Yandel's WY Records. It achieved the duo's highest debut on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, peaking at number 2 and charting for 12 weeks. Three years later, they released their third and yet last studio album, Sobredoxis, which debuted at number-one on Billboard's Latin Rhythm Albums chart. After that, the duo went to underground reggaeton, supporting new acts and serving as executive producers to their respective albums.
