Calletaera is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae.
The following species are recognised in the genus Calletaera: [1]
Acronicta is a genus of noctuid moths containing about 150 species distributed mainly in the temperate Holarctic, with some in adjacent subtropical regions. The genus was erected by Carl Linnaeus in his 1758 10th edition of Systema Naturae. Caterpillars of most Acronicta species are unmistakable, with brightly colored hairy spikes, and often feed quite visibly on common foliate trees. The hairy spikes may contain poison, which cause itchy, painful, swollen rash in humans on contact. The larva of the smeared dagger moth is unusually hairy even for this genus. Acronicta species are generally known as dagger moths, as most have one or more black dagger-shaped markings on their forewing uppersides. But some species have a conspicuous dark ring marking instead.
Idaea, sometimes called Hyriogona, is a large genus of geometer moths. It was erected by Georg Friedrich Treitschke in 1825. They are found nearly worldwide, with many native to the Mediterranean, the African savannas, and the deserts of western Asia.
Hypena is a genus of moths in the family Erebidae. It was first described by Franz von Paula Schrank in 1802. These non-migratory moths overwinter as pupae and almost never estivate as adults.
Anania is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae described by Jacob Hübner in 1823.
Udea is a genus of snout moths in the subfamily Spilomelinae of the family Crambidae. The genus was erected by Achille Guenée in 1845. The currently known 216 species are present on all continents except Antarctica. About 41 species are native to Hawaii.
Paracymoriza is a genus of moths of the family Crambidae.
Autoba is a genus of moths of the family Erebidae. The genus was erected by Francis Walker in 1863.
Enispa is a genus of moths of the family Erebidae. The genus was erected by Francis Walker in 1866.
Tamba is a genus of moths in the family Erebidae. It was erected by Francis Walker in 1869.
Comibaena is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. It was described by Jacob Hübner in 1823.
Ecliptopera is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae.
Garaeus is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae described by Frederic Moore in 1868.
Hydrelia is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae erected by Jacob Hübner in 1825.
Idiochlora is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. The genus was described by Warren in 1896.
Myrteta is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1861.
Ourapteryx is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae. The genus was erected by William Elford Leach in 1814.
Scopula is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae described by Franz von Paula Schrank in 1802.
Somatina is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae first described by Achille Guenée in 1858.
Auzata is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Drepaninae. It was erected by Walker in 1863.
Oenochrominae is a subfamily of the moth family Geometridae.
