The Davis–Adcock Store is a historic general store located at Wilbon, North Carolina, a crossroads north of Fuquay-Varina, in Wake County, North Carolina. The building was constructed in 1906, and is a one-story, frame, gable-front building, with a standing-seam metal roof and a stepped-parapet false front. The community store served not only as a local distribution center for goods and services, but also as a center of community social life. The building also housed the local post office from 1906 until 1925.

The Jay Em Historic District comprises the abandoned center of the village of Jay Em, Wyoming. The town was planned and established by Lake Harris between 1912 and 1915 as a service town supporting ranchers in the surrounding area. The place was recognized as a town in 1915 when a post office was established. Tours of the site are available by appointment.
Edom Store and Post Office, also known as John Chrisman Store and Myers and Company, is a historic store and post office located at Edom, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built about 1835, and is a two-story, brick commercial building. It features a metal-sheathed gable roof, a five-bay façade with center entries on the first and second stories, and a one-story entry porch and a storefront added in the late-19th century. It has a two-story rear ell. The interior is transitional Federal-Greek Revival. Also on the property is a contributing frame barn dated to about 1900. The Edom Post Office operated out of the store until the late 1930s and the store closed about 1940.
The Corner Store and Office, also known as the Frogmore Emporium, Macdonald, Wilkins, and Company Store and Mark D. Batchelder Office, is a historic general store, residence and, eventually, office building located on Saint Helena Island near Frogmore, Beaufort County, South Carolina. Primarily built as a house, it was built about 1877, and is a two-story, wood-frame building with a gable roof. It features a two-story wraparound porch. The adjacent one-story house was built about 1905. The store sold provisions to the islanders, most of whom were African American, and became one of the major centers of commercial and social activity on St. Helena. The home and businesses in the building were owned by Cameron Thomas and his relatives for most of the 20th century. The family lived in the back and upstairs portion of the house, while the front included a general store and liquor store, with the small house added on used as a residence for relatives. The store also had the only gas pump on the island for many years.
E. W. Cannon House and Store is a historic home and general store located at Hartsville, Darlington County, South Carolina. The main house was built about 1880 and incorporates a small one-story residence built about 1840 that now serves as a rear wing. It is a two-story, rectangular, frame residence with weatherboard siding. It features a one-story hip roof porch that extends across the full façade. The store was built about 1870 and is located to the rear of the house. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular, hand-hewn heavy timber-frame building that served as a post office from 1873 to 1878. Also on the property are a contributing frame garage and a frame smokehouse. The house and store were built by Elihu W. Cannon (1841-1911), prominent Hartsville farmer, postmaster, and Darlington County politician.
Monticello Store and Post Office is a historic general store and post office located at Monticello, Fairfield County, South Carolina, United States. It may have been built as early as 1820, and is a one-story, frame, weatherboarded, T-shaped building. The front façade features an undercut gallery with a pedimented gable supported by octagonal wooden columns. The building was used as a store and post office after the American Civil War until the mid-1960s.

The vernacular farmhouse was built in 1919, and consists of a 1 1/2-story, frame, center hall plan, hip-roofed main block, with a one-story frame gable-roofed ell built about 1860. The property includes a variety of contributing outbuildings including a farm office, milk house, woodshed, dairy barns, equipment building / machine shop (1941), cow shed, gas / oil house, corn crib (1910), silos, and cow sheds. It was the home of North Carolina governor and United States Senator, W. Kerr Scott (1896-1958) and the birthplace of W. Kerr Scott's son, also a former North Carolina governor, Robert W. Scott.
The John J. Morrill Store is a historic store and Grange hall on Belknap Mountain Road in the central village of Gilford, New Hampshire. Built in the late 1850s, it is a well-preserved example of a period general store with Greek Revival features. The building has also served as the local post office and as a Grange hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Franklin-Penland House, also known as Theodore C. Franklin House, Stokes Penland House, and Linville Falls Post Office, is a historic home located at Linville Falls, Burke County, North Carolina. It was built about 1883, and is a two-story, three-bay, frame I-house with a two-story rear ell. It features a full-width, attached two-tiered shed roof porch added about 1915. Also on the property is the former U.S. Post Office, Linville Falls, N.C., building. The one-room front gable frame building was built in 1907 and housed the Linville Falls post office until 1925.
Brown–Graves House and Brown's Store is a historic plantation complex located near Locust Hill, Caswell County, North Carolina. The plantation house was built about 1800, and is a two-story, five bay, Late Georgian style frame dwelling. It is set on a stone basement and has a low hipped roof. The front facade features a one-story pedimented porch with Corinthian order columns. Brown's Store is located across from the house and is a one-story, gabled frame building with a single shouldered stone and brick chimney. Also on the property are the contributing two slave quarters, a smoke house, and a Greek Revival period law office.

The house was built about 1858, and is a two-story, three bay, Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It is set on a brick foundation and has a low hipped roof. The front facade features a two-story, three bay, pedimented porch. Warren's Store and Post Office is located across from the house and is a two-story rectangular brick building of vernacular Greek Revival temple-form design. Also on the property is the contributing kitchen building.

The district encompasses 20+ contributing buildings near the rural Town of Catawba. It contains the mill buildings, four residences and complementing structures associated with the milling operations and the Murray family. They were built between the 1880s and mid-20th century. Notable buildings include the large two-story frame mill (1912-1913), store building, wheathouse (1880s), John L. Murray House (1913), a large gable roof frame barn (1930s), Lloyd Murray House (1935), and William Murray House (1880s).

The store was built in 1914, and the house in 1933. The store is a two-story frame Outer Banks Shingle Style building with a hipped shingle roof. A one-story, hipped-roof, one-room addition was built in 1944. The store was moved to its present site in 1932. The house is a two-story, T -shaped, single-pile frame dwelling with steeply pitched gable roofs.

Built in 1901, this 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure was the town's first general store, and is its only historic retail building. It operated until the 1950s, and now houses the Stockholm Historical Society's museum.

The store was built about 1890, and is a one-story, gable front, brick building. It measures 35 feet by 60 feet and has a wide, arched entrance with wooden double doors. North of the store is the two story, asymmetrical, Queen Anne style frame dwelling built about 1900. It has a cross-gable roof and features a cutaway bay. The store is considered the oldest surviving commercial building in rural Mecklenburg County.
Grinnell Company-General Fire Extinguisher Company Complex is a historic factory complex located at Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built in 1929–1930, and consists of a two-story office building and massive tall, one-story Grinnell manufacturing building. The office building is a reinforced concrete structure, with a brick veneer, a flat roof, and a parapet capped in concrete coping. The manufacturing building has a poured concrete slab foundation, brick veneered walls, a steel framing system consisting of I-beam piers and heavy Pratt truss roof, banks of continuous, steel sash windows, and large, sawtooth monitors. The complex was built for the largest manufacturer of automatic sprinklers and other fire protection products in North America.
Penland Post Office and General Store, also known as Bailey Lumber Company Office Building and Bailey Lumber Company Office and General Merchandise Store, is a historic post office and general store located at Penland, Mitchell County, North Carolina. It was built about 1900, and is a long, one-story, frame building with a front-gable roof and rough-sawn board and batten siding. The building housed the office and store of the Bailey Lumber Company from about 1900 to 1916, and a general store from about 1902 to 1974. It has housed the Penland post office since 1934 and is the oldest active post office facility in Mitchell County and is the county's last remaining Fourth Class post office.
Davis Brothers Store is a historic general store located at East Bend, Yadkin County, North Carolina. It was built in 1913, and is a two-story brick commercial building. The front facade features intact store fronts and entrances and a one-story shed-roofed canopy-like porch. Also on the property is a contributing center-passage frame storage barn dated to the 1930s.
