Capraiuscola is a monotypic genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Miramellina, erected by A. Galvagni in 1986. [1] The recorded distribution for this grasshopper (possibly incomplete) is in eastern Europe: from Romania up to Poland. [2]
The Orthoptera Species File [2] includes the single species Capraiuscola ebneri(Galvagni, 1953) [3] and lists the subspecies:
The Melanoplinae are a subfamily of grasshoppers in the family Acrididae. They are distributed across the Holarctic and Neotropical realms. They are one of the two largest subfamilies in the Acrididae. As of 2001 the Melanoplinae contained over 800 species in over 100 genera, with more species being described continuously.
Miramella is a small genus of short-horned grasshoppers in the subfamily Melanoplinae. They are found in Europe and eastern Asia. As of January 2019, Orthoptera Species File lists seven species in three subgenera. The genus was first named in 1932. Miramella is the type genus of the subtribe Miramellina.
Stenobothrus is a genus of grasshoppers found in Asia, Europe, and North Africa.
Miramella alpina, commonly known as the green mountain grasshopper, is a species of short-horned grasshopper in the family Acrididae.
Pseudoprumna is a monotypic genus of grasshoppers in the subfamily Melanoplinae and tribe Podismini. The only species is Pseudoprumna baldensis.
Chortopodisma is a monotypic genus of grasshopper in the tribe Podismini. Its only recognized species is Chortopodisma cobellii.
Podisma is a genus of 'short-horned grasshoppers' belonging to the family Acrididae and the subfamily Melanoplinae.
Gigaductus is a genus of parasites in the phylum Apicomplexa.
Podismini is a tribe of "spur-throated grasshoppers" in the family Acrididae. This tribe is unlike others in the subfamily Melanoplinae in that genera are found throughout the northern hemisphere, with a substantial number occurring outside the Americas.
Parapachyacris taiwanensis is a species of grasshopper in the family Acrididae found in Taiwan, and the sole member of the genus Parapachyacris.
Nadigella is a genus of spur-throated grasshoppers in the family Acrididae. There is one described species in Nadigella, N. formosanta, found in Europe.
Anapodisma miramae is a species of spur-throated grasshopper in the family Acrididae. It is found in eastern Asia.
Anonconotus is a genus of Palaearctic bush crickets in the tribe Platycleidini, erected by L. Camerano in 1878. Species may be called "Alpine bush crickets" and can be found in mainland western Europe, with most records from France through to Austria and Italy.
Italopodisma is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Miramellina, erected by Harz in 1973. As the genus name suggests, current records of occurrence appear to be confined to Italy.
Micropodisma is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Podismina, erected by D.P. Dovnar-Zapolskij in 1932. Species have a recorded distribution from the Balkans, southern Russia to Kazakhstan.
Pseudopodisma is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Podismina, erected by Mistshenko in 1947. Species have a recorded distribution mostly from Italy and the Balkans.
Oropodisma is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Miramellina erected by Boris Uvarov in 1942. Species have a recorded distribution from the Balkans through to the Bosphorus.
Zubovskya is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Miramellina, erected by D.P. Dovnar-Zapolskij in 1932. Species have a very disjointed distribution, with records from Romania, northern and eastern Russia, northern China, Korea and Japan.
Cophopodisma is a genus of Palaearctic grasshoppers in the tribe Podismini and subtribe Miramellina, erected by D.P. Dovnar-Zapolskij in 1932. Species records have a highly disjointed distribution, with two species from Spain and France and C. yunnanea from China.
