Carl Saff (born in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States) is an American mastering engineer, record producer, musician and guitarist. [1] He began recording and mixing music in 1995. He shifted towards mastering in 1999 and opened his own mastering studio, Saff Mastering, LLC, in Chicago, Illinois in 2000. [2] Saff has been active as a musician since 1989 and has played in the bands Emperor Penguin (under the pseudonym Lazlo Minimart), Pencil and Neutrino. [3] [4]

Poison the Well is an American metalcore band from Miami, Florida who were last signed to Ferret Music. In 2010, they announced a hiatus to explore other interests. Lead guitarist Ryan Primack and drummer Christopher Hornbrook were the only remaining founding members, although vocalist Jeffrey Moreira featured on all five of their full-length albums. The band has since performed several reunion shows: two in 2015, eleven in 2016 and one in 2020.

Throwdown is an American straight edge hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. They have toured as part of Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground, Hellfest, and Warped Tour, as well as with bands such as In Flames, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Korn and Cavalera Conspiracy. The songs "Forever" and "Burn" were staples on MTV2's Headbangers Ball and Revolver Magazine called them part of "The Future of Metal" after hearing the album Vendetta. Initially branded a hardcore punk band, albums like Venom and Tears and Deathless took a sharp turn towards metal, with critics likening the band's sound to that of Pantera, Sepultura, and Crowbar.

He Is Legend American rock band

He Is Legend is an American hard rock/heavy metal band from Wilmington, North Carolina, formed in the late 1990's but settled on the name "He Is Legend" in 2003. According to the aggregate of the listeners, He Is Legend's music is similar to such of Alexisonfire, Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, and Thrice. The band's lineup is front man Schuylar Croom, guitarist Adam Tanbouz, bassist Matty Williams, and drummer Jesse Shelley.

Every Time I Die is an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. They have garnered acclaim for their energetic and intense live shows. They announced in July 2008 that they had left their label Ferret Music and signed with Epitaph Records instead. Their eighth and latest studio album Low Teens was released through Epitaph in September 2016.

Deep Cuts is the second studio album by Swedish electronic music duo The Knife. It was released on 17 January 2003 by Rabid Records. The 2004 version contains three additional tracks and is packaged with a DVD containing music videos. On 31 October 2006, Mute Records issued Deep Cuts and The Knife's eponymous debut album in the United States, marking the first US release of both albums. The album spawned the singles "Heartbeats", "You Take My Breath Away" and "Pass This On".

The Word Alive is an American metalcore band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2008. The band is signed to Fearless Records since their formation. The band currently consists of vocalist Tyler Smith, guitarists Zack Hansen and Tony Pizzuti, and drummer Matt Horn. The group has had several line-up changes throughout their career, with Hansen and Pizzuti as the only remaining founding members. Their second EP, Empire reached No. 15 on the Top Heatseekers, meeting a great amount of positive acclaim upon its release in 2009. The following year, the group recorded and released their debut studio album, Deceiver on August 31, 2010, which reached No. 97 on the Billboard 200 and 15 on Independent Albums.

Motionless in White is an American heavy metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Chris "Motionless" Cerulli, Ryan Sitkowski, Ricky "Horror" Olson, Vinny Mauro (drums), and Justin Morrow (bass). The band has stated that their band name derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White".

Kid Gorgeous is an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, United States. The group features a conglomerate mix of members from past and current bands Buried Alive (band), Every Time I Die and Anterrabae. Their first album, Friday Night Knife Fight, was released in May 2001. Their second studio album, This Feeling Gets Old, came out in June 2003. Both efforts were released on Southern California indie label Uprising Records. The band originally called it quits in 2003 with their last show being with Snapcase and Every Time I Die in November of that year. With a couple one off reunion shows since then, the band has recently resurfaced with news in March 2010 that they were going to record and tour briefly in the summer. The band started recording an EP in December 2010 at GCR Audio in Buffalo, New York with Jay Zubricky and debuted two of the songs at their show with Every Time I Die on December 29, 2010. Subsequently, on December 30, 2010, the band released the song "Mermaid With A Switchblade" via their Facebook and Myspace pages. On February 1, 2012, Eulogy Recordings announced that it will be releasing the EP titled "Blue Romance" which includes three new tracks, a re-recorded classic, and a cover on June 5, 2012. It was announced via the band's Twitter and Facebook pages that Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley has lent vocals to a cover of Judas Priest's "Living After Midnight" which will be a bonus track on the EP.

Kentucky Knife Fight was an American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. Active since 2005, the band had been a congruent force alongside Pokey LaFarge, So Many Dynamos and Sleepy Kitty in bringing national attention to a re-emerging St. Louis music scene. Their sound is generally classified as Noir Blues, combining pre-rock elements of blues, dark-bluegrass, and jazz with punk, pop, and twang influences.

Volumes (band) American metalcore band

Volumes is an American progressive metalcore band based in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of bassist Raad Soudani, vocalists Myke Terry and Michael Barr, and drummer Nick Ursich. The group was founded in 2009 By Daniel Braunstein, Diego & Gus Farias and debuted with their first EP, The Concept of Dreaming in 2010. This was followed with their debut album Via (2011) and their sophomore album No Sleep in 2014. Both albums peaked at No. 1 on the iTunes Rock and Metal charts.

CSTVT, formerly known as Castevet, was an American emo band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was founded in early 2007 by vocalist and bassist Ron Petzke, vocalist and guitarist Nick Wakim, guitarist Will McEvilly and drummer Josh Snader; the line-up remained intact until their demise in 2013. In December 2010, the band changed the spelling of its name from Castevet to CSTVT, though the pronunciation remained the same.
