Carmine R. DiBartholomeo, better known as Carmen Barth (September 13, 1912 – September 17, 1985), was a male American boxer who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. He was born and raised in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio and died in Lorain, Ohio.
In 1931 Barth won 160 Lb Amateur Title of Cleveland. In 1932 he won the gold medal in the middleweight class after winning the final against Amado Azar.

Eric Seelig was middleweight boxing champion in Germany in 1931 and their light-heavyweight champion in 1933. Because he was Jewish, he was stripped of his titles, and, in July 1933, the Nazis threatened that if he dared fight another match to defend his titles he would be killed. Seelig fled to France, though his stripped titles were never restored. He had a successful boxing career in America from 1935 to 1940.
Valeri Vladimirovich Popenchenko was a Soviet Olympic boxer who competed in the middleweight division (−75 kg). During his career he won 200 out of 213 bouts; he won an Olympic gold medal in 1964 and European titles in 1963 and 1965. He was named the Outstanding Boxer of the 1964 Olympics and given the Val Barker Trophy, becoming the only Soviet boxer to receive the honour. Popenchenko was known for his exceptional skills and agility in the ring, as well as his strong left hook.
Lawrence Stevens was a South African boxer who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. He was born in Johannesburg and died in Durban, Natal. Both of his parents were born and raised in Johannesburg, all four of his grandparents were immigrants from England.
Amado Azar was an Argentine boxer who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics. In 1932 he won the silver medal in the middleweight class after losing the final against Carmen Barth of the United States. Azar was the brother of fellow boxer Jorje Azar.
Ernest "Eddie" Peirce was a South African boxer who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
