Carroll's Hill is a mountain in Offaly, in the Republic of Ireland.
The mountain stands at 482 metres (1,581 feet) high, making it the fifth-highest mountain in Offaly, the seventh-highest mountain in the Slieve Bloom Mountains and the 617th-highest summit in Ireland.
Offa's Dyke Path is a long-distance footpath loosely following the Wales–England border. Officially opened on 10 July 1971, by Lord Hunt, it is one of Britain's National Trails and draws walkers from throughout the world. About 60 miles (97 km) of the 177-mile (285 km) route either follows, or keeps close company with, the remnants of Offa's Dyke, an earthwork traditionally thought to have been constructed in the late 8th century on the orders of King Offa of Mercia.

While not very high, they are extensive by local standards. The highest points are Arderin at the southwestern end of the range and Baunreaghcong at the end of the Ridge of Capard.
The R440 road is a regional road in Ireland linking Birr, County Offaly and Mountrath, County Laois. It passes through the village of Kinnity, County Offaly and from there climbs to the watershed of the Slieve Bloom Mountains north of Stillbrook Hill, crossing at an elevation of 1,503 feet (458 m) into County Laois on the plateau and descending to Mountrath.
Table Mountain is a 702-metre (2,303 ft) peak in the southern section of the Wicklow Mountains range in Ireland. With a prominence of only 16 metres (52 ft), it is only listed in a few of the recognised categories of mountains in Ireland; it is the 110th–highest peak on the Vandeleur-Lynam Irish scale. Table Mountain is at the apex of a horseshoe-shaped "boggy" massif with its larger neighbours, Camenabologue 758 metres (2,487 ft) and Conavalla 734 metres (2,408 ft) that sit at the head of the Glenmalure valley; all three peaks lie close to the "central spine" of the range as it runs from Kippure in the north, to Lugnaquillia in the south. There is no recorded Irish language name for Table Mountain, and it has no connection with Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.
Pat Carroll was an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Coolderry and with the Offaly senior inter-county team from 1977 until 1985.

The 1984 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final was a hurling match which took place on Sunday, 2 September 1984 at Semple Stadium in Thurles that decided the winner of the 1984 season of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. The winners received the Liam MacCarthy Cup. The 1984 final, regarded as the Centenary Year final due to the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association one hundred years previously in 1884, was the culmination of the 98th season of the championship, and the 97th final overall.
Coolderry GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Coolderry in County Offaly, Ireland. The club is the most successful side in the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship with a record 31 titles. Its facilities include a clubhouse with four dressing rooms, floodlights, ball wall, two pitches, a running track and a gym. Its most recent win was 2018 beating Kilcormac Kiloughey.
Aghagurty is a townland in County Offaly, Ireland. It is approximately 1.5 square kilometres (0.6 sq mi) in area. Aghagurty was the ancestral home of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the only Catholic signatory of the American Declaration of Independence, whose grandfather, Charles Carroll the Settler, is believed to have been born in the locality—his father being known as Daniel Carroll of Aghagurty and Littermurna.

The mountain is 487 metres (1,598 ft) high, making it the third-highest summit in Offaly, the fourth-highest mountain in the Slieve Bloom Mountains and the 602th-highest summit in Ireland. It is the most northerly summit of the Slieve Bloom range.
