Catherine Louise Bond-Mills (born 20 September 1967 in Woodstock, Ontario [1] ) is a Canadian retired track and field athlete who specialised in the heptathlon. [2] She represented her country at two Summer Olympics, in 1992 and 1996, as well as three World Championships.

A heptathlon is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events. The name derives from the Greek επτά and ἄθλος. A competitor in a heptathlon is referred to as a heptathlete.
Ghada Shouaa is a retired Syrian heptathlete. At the 1996 Summer Olympics, she won her country's first and only Olympic gold medal. She was also a World and Asian heptathlon champion. She is considered one of the best Asian and Arab female athletes of all time. She was a Syrian flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Tomáš Dvořák, born 11 May 1972 in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia, is an athlete from the Czech Republic. He competed in the decathlon and heptathlon for the team Dukla Prague. He is a three-time decathlon world champion and a former world record holder, which is still the fifth best performance of all-time. This record was broken by Dvořák's compatriot Roman Šebrle in 2001. Dvořák is the only athlete to score over 8,900 points three times.
Eunice Barber is a Sierra Leonean-French athlete competing in heptathlon and long jump. Barber initially competed for Sierra Leone and then for France from 1999 onwards. She won the heptathlon at the World Athletics Championships in 1999, the long jump in 2003 and finished second in heptathlon in 2003 and 2005.

María Peinado Bravo is a former Spanish athlete who specialized in the combined events. She holds Spanish records in the heptathlon and rarely contested women's decathlon.

Holly Mills is an English long jumper and heptathlete. She finished fourth both in the pentathlon at the 2022 World Indoor Championships and in the heptathlon at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Mills won bronze medals for the heptathlon at the 2021 European Under-23 Championships and for the long jump at the 2019 European U20 Championships.
Sarah Lagger is an Austrian athlete competing in the combined events. As a junior she won a gold medal in the heptathlon at the 2016 World U20 Championships and a silver at the 2018 edition.
Adriana Rodríguez Fuentes is a Cuban athlete competing in the heptathlon and long jump. She represented her country in the latter at the 2019 World Championships in Doha without reaching the final. Earlier that year she won a heptathlon gold at the 2019 Pan American Games.
