Channel Five [1] is an Urdu language Pakistani television channel [2] based in Lahore, launched in year 2012. [3] They are managed by Dot Republic Media Group They are part of Khabrain Group who publishes Khabrain Newspaper. They are based in Lahore, Pakistan. On the 30 October 2022, the Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem died in an accident while attempting to receive an interview of Imran Khan during the Azadi rally. [4] It caused UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay to raise concern in regards to the security of journalists. [5]

The 2014 Azadi movement, or 2014 Freedom movement also known as the Tsunami March, was a protest march in Pakistan from 14 August to 17 December 2014. The march was organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, opposing Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif over claims of systematic election-rigging by the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) in the 2013 general election that was later order for reelection and PTI won one out of three seats from the four claimed seats. Party leader Imran Khan had announced plans for an August march from Lahore to Islamabad with a group of protesters in a PTI jalsa (demonstration) in Bahawalpur on 27 June 2014. On 17 December, a day after the 2014 Peshawar school massacre, Khan called off the protest.

Dil Na Umeed To Nahi is a Pakistani social drama television series produced by Kashf Foundation, directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Amna Mufti. It features Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Fajar Khan, Bonita Malik, Muhammad Sadoon and Isbah Irfan in leading roles. Focuses on several social evils including child marriages, child labour, human trafficking/sex trafficking and prostitution, the story revolves around three individuals, Allah Rakhi, Jamshaid and Naseem Zehra who face these problems.

The 2022 Azadi March II is a protest march sequel of the 2022 Azadi March I led by the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan from Lahore to Islamabad against the Shehbaz Sharif ministry's refusal to announce early general elections and the appointment of a new Pakistan Army Chief.

Sadaf Naeem was a Pakistani journalist. She worked as a news reporter with Channel 5, a Pakistani TV Channel. She had also worked as a model and TV host in different TV channels. Sadaf died on 30 October 2022 in an accident after falling from a container during the Azadi March of the Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) from GT Road, Lahore to Kamoke, Gujranwala.
