Notes:Robert Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree (1973) and a certificate of education (1974) from the University of Manitoba. He worked as a teacher and social counsellor with the Department of Indian Affairs and later became a locomotive engineer with the Canadian National Railway. [2] He is a retired member of the Royal Canadian Navy Reserves with a rank of Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class. Scott joined the Christian Heritage Party in 1988 and has been president of its Manitoba branch. Once active in the Roman Catholic church, he now attends the Shalom Family Worship Centre. [3] [4] He has been a CHP candidate in six elections.

Lawrence Toet is a Canadian politician. Born a child of Dutch parents who moved to Canada in the early fifties, he was elected to the House of Commons of Canada for the federal Conservative Party of Canada in the 2011 election, representing the electoral district of Elmwood—Transcona. In the 2015 election, Toet was defeated by NDP candidate Daniel Blaikie by 61 votes. He later won again the candidacy for the Conservative Party of Canada for the riding of Elmwood-Transcona in March 2018 but failed to win back his seat in 2019.
Daniel Blaikie is a Canadian politician who served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Elmwood—Transcona from October 19, 2015 until March 31, 2024. A member of the New Democratic Party (NDP), he was elected to the House of Commons in the 2015 federal election.

She held the seat for the New Democratic Party in the 2024 Elmwood—Transcona federal by-election and won with 48% of the vote. Dance succeeded outgoing MP Daniel Blaikie, who stepped down to take a position in the government of Wab Kinew.
