SS <i>Crown Arun</i> cargo ship

Crown Arun was a 2,372 GRT cargo ship which was built by Actien-Gesellschaft „Neptun“ Schiffswerft und Maschinenfabrik, Rostock as Hannah Böge. She was captured at sea on 3 September 1939 and declared a war prize. Taken into service by the British Government, Crown Arun was torpedoed and sunk by U-99 on 17 September 1940.

Cave Bay is a cove, 0.3 nautical miles (0.6 km) wide, which has been formed by the erosion of an extinct volcanic crater of which Mount Andree forms the north side, indenting the west side of Heard Island between West Bay and South West Bay. The cove is roughly charted on an American sealer's sketch map prepared during the 1860–70 period. It was more accurately charted and first named on a geological sketch map illustrating the 1929 work of the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition under Douglas Mawson.

Hunt Peak is a triangular rock peak, 610 metres (2,000 ft) high, marking the north side of the entrance to Stonehouse Bay on the east coast of Adelaide Island, Antarctica. It was discovered and first roughly surveyed in 1909 by the French Antarctic Expedition under Jean-Baptiste Charcot. It was resurveyed in 1948 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), who named the point marked by this peak for Sergeant Kenneth D. Hunt, a mechanic for the expedition's Noorduyn Norseman airplane in 1950. Further survey in 1957–58 by the FIDS showed no definable point in the vicinity and the name was transferred to the peak.

Kehdingen was a fishing trawler that was built in 1929 as Volkswohl. She was renamed Kehdingen in 1938 and was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine in 1939. She served until 1944 when she was scuttled of the east coast of Greenland.

Hokkai Maru was a rescue tug of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. She was the first of three ships of her class succeeding the Shōkai Maru class of high-powered tugboats.
