Daneshgah-e Tarbiat Modares Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7&6 [1] It is located on the intersection of Chamran Expressway and Jalal-e-Ale Ahmad Expressway, near its namesake Tarbiat Modares University. [2]

Pirouz Mojtahedzadeh is an Iranian political scientist and historian. He is a prominent Iranologist, geopolitics researcher, historian and political scientist. He teaches geopolitics at the Tarbiat Modares University of Tehran. He has been the advisor of the United Nations University. Mojtahedzadeh has published more than 20 books in Persian, English and Arabic on the geopolitics of Persian Gulf region and modern discourses in international relations. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature. He has been a member of the British Institute of Iranian Studies since 1993. Mojtahedzadeh earned a Ph.D. in political geography from the University of London in 1993 and a Ph.D. in political geography from the University of Oxford in 1979.

Farhad Daneshjoo is an Iranian academic, and current President of Tarbiat Modares University. He is the former president of the Azad University, which was elected for this position on 17 January 2012 and removed from his office by the university's central committee on 18 September 2013. He is said to have been a student of PhD in England at the time of Ayatollah Khomeini's Fatwa on Salman Rushdie's death sentence. He was expelled from England as one of the students burning a bookshop selling Rushdie's books. He was president of the Tarbiat Modares University for five years from 2005 to 2010. He is one of the three brothers of Daneshjoo. His elder brother, Kamran Daneshjoo was the Minister of Science in the government of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Khosro Daneshjoo was a member of City Council of Tehran. His sister, Parisa Daneshjoo is also an academic.

Hassan Sedghi-Gamechi is a professor of physics in Urmia University, in city of Urmia in West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. He was appointed as president of Urmia University from 2006 and he served in this position till January 2014 when he replaced by Rahim Hobbenaghi.

Gholam Ali Montazer was born on 22 March in 1969 in Davan village located 10-km away from Kazeroon city. He spent his childhood in Abadan and Shiraz and received his high school Diploma as the first-ranked student from Towhid high school in Shiraz in 1987. In the same year, having been elected to the National Students Mathematics Competitions, he has been admitted in Electrical Engineering Department at Khaje Nasireddin Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran and graduated in 1992. Then he continued his education at Tarbiat Modares University and received the MSc. and Ph.D. degree both in Electrical Engineering in 1993 and 1998, respectively.
