Sabalan Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 2. [1] It is located in the junction of Ayatollah Madani Avenue and Sabalan Street. It is between Fadak Metro Station and Shahid Madani Metro Station.
Sabalan or Savalan is an inactive stratovolcano in northwestern Iran located in Ardabil province.

Seyyed Ahmad Madani, mostly known as Ahmad Madani, was an Iranian politician, Commander of Iranian Navy (1979), governor of the Khuzestan province (1979–80) and candidate in the first Iranian presidential election. Madani became a navy Commodore in 1970, but was removed in 1973. He later became a navy commander after the revolution and was the first ever Minister of Defence under the new regime. Madani was also elected to the first parliament from Kerman, but was not approved. He eventually fled to the United States in 1980.

Imam Hossein Metro Station is a station in Tehran, Metro Line 2. It is located in Imam Hossein Square, the junctions of Ayatollah Madani Avenue and Enghelab Street. It is between Shahid Madani Metro Station and Darvaze Shemiran Metro Station along Line 2. The station is also located along Line 6, north of Meydan-e Shohada Metro Station. This Station is 23 meters underground and it has elevators.
Tehran (Sadeghiyeh) Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 2 and Tehran Metro Line 5. It is located in Sadeghiye neighborhood near Mohammad Ali Jenah Expressway and Tehran-Karaj Freeway. It is the west end of Line 2 and the east end of Line 5. The next station in Line 2 is Tarasht Metro Station and the next station in Line 5 is Eram-e Sabz Metro Station. It also has a big parking lot and is considered as the most crowded Tehran metro station. It is currently the only above ground station on Tehran Metro Line 2.

Line 3 is one of the most important lines as it connects southwest Tehran to northeast, crosses busy parts of the capital city, and can help to alleviate traffic problems. About 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) of Line 3 became operational in December 2012, followed by 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) in April 2014, and finally, the last section of the line which is 18 kilometers (11 mi) opened on September 22, 2015, increasing the length of the line to a total of 33.7 kilometers (20.9 mi).

Mir Asadollah Madani Dehkharghani was an Iranian politician and Shia cleric. He was the second Imam Jumu'ah of Tabriz, the Imam Jumu'ah of Hamadan, the representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan for less than a year, and a member of the Muslim People's Republic Party. Madani was also Hamadan Province's representative in the first term of the Assembly of Experts.
