Haram-e Motahhar-e Emam Khomeini Metro station, formerly simply called Haram-e Motahhar Metro Station, is a station of Tehran Metro Line 1. [1] The next station is Shahed - Bagher Shahr on the north side and Kahrizak on the south side. It is located east of Mausoleum of Khomeini.
Imam Khomeini International Airport is the international airport of Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is located 2 kilometers of Vahnabad and 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Tehran and is named for Ruhollah Khomeini, Iran's first supreme leader. The airport is operated by Imam Khomeini Airport City Company. It covers 13,400 hectares and has two terminals and two runways. All international flights into Tehran are served by the airport, and all domestic flights land at Mehrabad Airport. Imam Khomeini Airport is a hub for four airlines. As of the fiscal year ending on 20 March 2019, it ranks third in terms of passenger traffic in Iran.
The Tehran Metro is a rapid transit system serving Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is the largest metro system in the Middle East. The system is owned and operated by Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway. It consists of six operational metro lines, with construction under way on six lines including northwestern extension of line 4, south extension line 6, northwestern and east extension line 7 and Line 10, Line 8 and 9.

The Emam Khomeini Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 1 and Line 2. The station was opened on 21 February 2000, it is located in Toopkhaneh Square between Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station and Saadi Metro Station in Line 1 and Mellat Metro Station and Hasan Abad Metro Station in Line 2.
Saadi Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in the junction of Saadi Street and Jomhuri-ye Eslami Street. It is between Imam Khomeini Metro Station and Darvaze Dolat Metro Station.
Mosalla Imam Khomeini Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in Mosalla-ye Tehran next to Resalat Expressway. It is between Shahid Beheshti Metro Station and Shahid Hemmat Metro Station.

Hasan Abad Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 2. It is located in the junction of Imam Khomeini Street and Hafez Street in Si-o-Yek Shahrivar Square. It is between Imam Khomeini Metro Station and Imam Ali University Metro Station.
Daneshgah-e Emam Ali Metro Station, which is translated into Imam Ali University Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 2. It is located in Imam Khomeini Street in front of the old Majles building near Imam Ali University. It is between Imam Khomeini Metro Station and Hor Square Metro Station. The station is named after Imam Ali University for Army Officers, which is located near the station on Imam Khomeini Street. The Assembly of Experts' building is also located next to this station.
Meydan-e Horr Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 2. It is located in Hor Square the junction of Imam Khomeini Street and Kargar Street. It is between Imam Ali University Metro Station and Navvab Metro Station.
Tehran Metro Line 1, coloured red on system maps, runs north–south and is 86.9 kilometers (54.0 mi) of which 14.9 km (9.3 mi) is underground and the rest at grade. The number of stations along the main line is 29 of which 22 stations are underground and 7 above. The Airport branch has another 3 stations, all at grade. As of 2005, the line's total capacity is 650,000 passengers per day and trains make a scheduled stop of 20 seconds per station. The trains are made up of seven wagons, giving a nominal capacity of 1,300 seated and standing passengers. The maximum speed of the trains is 80 km/h (50 mph) per hour, in practice tempered to an average 45 km/h (28 mph) due to station stops, but 120 km/h (75 mph) on the Airport branch, so travel time for the 49 km (30 mi) from Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station to Parand is just 34 minutes.
Tehran Metro Line 2, which opened between Sadeghieh and Imam Khomeini in February 2000, is 20.4 kilometers (12.7 mi) long, with 19 km (12 mi) as a subway and 1.4 kilometers (0.87 mi) elevated. At this time, there were 19 stations along the line, of which Imam Khomeini Station was shared by Line 1. Line 2 is coloured blue on system maps and runs mostly east–west through the city.
Kahrizak Metro Station is the final station of the Tehran Metro Line 1 and is located in Kahrizak, south of Behesht-e Zahra, Tehran, Iran. The next stop north is Haram-e Motahhar-e Emam Khomeini. The station was opened on July 21, 2011.
Shahr-e Aftab Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in Aftab Rural District, near Behesht-e Zahra. The station serves Shahr-e Aftab Expo and Shahed University. The next station is on one end Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station, towards Tehran city centre, and the other end Shahr-e Forudgahi-e Imam Khomeini Metro Station.
Molavi Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7. It is located at the intersection of Molavi Street and Mostafa Khomeini, also known as Molavi Intersection. The station is at the southeastern edge of Tehran Bazaar, and near Shahid Akbarabadi Hospital.
Imam Khomeini Airport station is a station on a branch of Line 1 of the Tehran Metro. It is adjacent to Imam Khomeini International Airport. The station serves the airport and the surrounding, related facilities. Until 30 November 2023, when the extension towards Parand was inaugurated, it was the southern terminus of the line.
Roudaki Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 7. It is located on the western side of Navvab Expressway at the junction with Imam Khomeini Street.
