Shahid Sayyad Shirazi Metro Station, also referred to as Sayyad is a station in line 3 of the Tehran Metro. It is located at an exit from Sayyad Expressway to Masil Bakhtar Avenue, in Tehran's district 7. [2]
The Tehran Metro is a rapid transit system serving Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is the largest metro system in the Middle East. The system is owned and operated by Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway. It consists of six operational metro lines, with construction under way on six lines including northwestern extension of line 4, south extension line 6, northwestern and east extension line 7 and Line 10, Line 8 and 9.
Ali Sayyad Shirazi was an Iranian military officer. He served as commander of the Iranian Ground Forces during the Iran–Iraq War and was a key military figure during the war. He was assassinated by Mojahedin-e Khalq in 1999 while serving as the deputy chief of the Iranian Armed Forces General Staff.
The Emam Khomeini Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 1 and Line 2. The station was opened on 21 February 2000, it is located in Toopkhaneh Square between Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station and Saadi Metro Station in Line 1 and Mellat Metro Station and Hasan Abad Metro Station in Line 2.
Darvazeh Dowlat Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 1 and Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located in the junction of Enghelab Street, Saadi Street and Dr. Mofatteh Street. It is between Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station and Saadi Metro Station in Line 1 and Mellat Metro Station and Hasan Abad Metro Station. This station is a crowded station because it has connections to Tarbiat Modares University, Ferdowsi Shoe Bazar, Enghelab Book Bazar and Tehran Bus BRT1.
Darvazeh Shemiran Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 2 and Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located in junction of Baharestan Street and Mazandaran Street and Namjou Street nad Sepah Street. It is between Imam Hossein Metro Station and Baharestan Metro Station in Line 2 and Meydan-e Shohada Metro Station and Darvazeh Dowlat Metro Station in Line 4.
Ferdowsi Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located in Ferdowsi Square the junction of Enghelab Street and Ferdowsi Street. It is between Darvaze Dolat Metro Station and Teatr-e Shahr Metro Station. It has connection to Tehran Bus BRT1.
Tehran (Sadeghiyeh) Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 2 and Tehran Metro Line 5. It is located in Sadeghiye neighborhood near Mohammad Ali Jenah Expressway and Tehran-Karaj Freeway. It is the west end of Line 2 and the east end of Line 5. The next station in Line 2 is Tarasht Metro Station and the next station in Line 5 is Eram-e Sabz Metro Station. It also has a big parking lot and is considered as the most crowded Tehran metro station. It is currently the only above ground station on Tehran Metro Line 2.
Eram-e Sabz Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4 and Line 5. It is located north of Tehran-Karaj Freeway and Ekbatan. It is the western terminus of Line 4, next to Shahrak-e Ekbatan Metro Station and it is between Azadi Stadium Metro Station and Sadeghieh (Tehran) Metro Station on Line 5. The station was formerly called Ekbatan , however the Ekbatan part of the name was dropped in July 2015, in order to avoid confusion with the nearby Shahrak-e Ekbatan Metro Station, as part of the city council's consideration of polling of the public opinions.
Chitgar Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 5. It is located north of Tehran-Karaj Freeway and near Chitgar Park. It is between Azadi Stadium Metro Station and Iran Khodro Metro Station.
Karaj Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 5. It is located in southeastern Karaj near Tehran-Qazvin Freeway. It is between Atmosfer Metro Station and Mahdasht Metro Station. The station is 1.8 km (1.1 mi) north of Karaj railway Station, which serves Tehran Commuter Railway.
Farhangsara Metro Station is the eastern end of Tehran Metro Line 2, in Iran. It was opened in 2010, with Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf attending the inauguration. It is located in Jashnvareh Street in Tehranpars neighborhood. The next station is Tehran Pars Metro Station.
Teatr-e Shahr Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4 and Line 3. It is located at the intersection of Enghelab Street and Valiasr Street near the location of Teatr-e Shahr, in Daneshjoo Park. The station was formerly known as Vali Asr Metro Station. However, its name was officially changed on February 2, 2016, in order to avoid confusions with the newer Meydan-e Vali Asr Metro Station.
Tehran Metro Line 3 travels from northeast to southwest. Line 3 is one of the most important lines as it connects southwest Tehran to northeast, crosses busy parts of the capital city, and can help to alleviate traffic problems. About 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) of Line 3 became operational in December 2012, followed by 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) in April 2014, and finally, the last section of the line which is 18 kilometers (11 mi) opened on September 22, 2015, increasing the length of the line to a total of 33.7 kilometers (20.9 mi).
Tajrish Metro Station is the northern terminus station of Tehran Metro Line 1. It is also the northernmost Tehran Metro station. It is located in the area called Tajrish, district 1 municipality in northern Tehran, Iran. The station is located at Qods Square, in the northernmost section of Shariati Street. It has an area of 150,000 sq.m with 16 escalators and 8 elevators. The Tajrish Metro Station was inaugurated on 19 February 2012.

Shahid Zeyn-o-ddin Metro Station is a station in line 3 of the Tehran Metro. It is located next to the interchange of Sayyad Expressway and Zeinoddin Expressway. And it has been named so as a memorial name for Mehdi Zeinoddin who was one of Iranian major generals during Iran-Iraq war.
