Daša Živković (born 29 December 1988) is a Montenegrin beauty pageant titleholder who represented Montenegro in the 2008 Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Universe 2008 57th Miss Universe pageant

Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe pageant, was held on 14 July 2008 at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela was crowned by Riyo Mori of Japan as her successor at the end of the event. 80 contestants competed in this year which was broadcast and distributed globally via NBC in English and Telemundo in Spanish to TV outlets in more than 180 countries. The pageant was watched by a live audience of 7,500 and nearly a billion television viewers worldwide.

Miss Montenegro 2007

Živković, who stands 1.79 m (5 ft 10 in), competed in her country's first national beauty pageant in history, Miss Montenegro 2007, held in Plavnica on 24 August 2007, when she gained the right to represent her nation in the 2008 Miss Universe pageant. [1]

Miss Tourism Queen International 2008

Prior to her participation in Miss Universe 2008, Živković was the official representative of her country to the 2008 Miss Tourism Queen International pageant held in Zhengzhou on 10 April 2008, when she placed third runner-up to eventual winner, Silvia Cornejo of Peru. [2]

Miss Universe 2008

A couple months later, Živković represented Montenegro in the 57th edition of the Miss Universe pageant, [3] broadcast live from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on 14 July 2008. 80 contestants from different countries and territories competed in the event. [4]

Crown Convention Center

Crown Convention Center is an indoor arena in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam. It is the biggest stage in the Southeast Asian nation after Sentul International Convention Center and Mata Elang International Stadium in Indonesia, with an arena of 1,500 square meters, and was built in 2008. The Diamond Bay or the Nha Trang Tourism and Entertainment Area is 14 km away from the centre of the Nha Trang city. The 7,500-seat center is equipped with an audio and lightning system imported from the USA. It hosted the Miss Universe 2008 pageant on July 14, 2008.

Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khánh Hòa Province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is bounded on the north by Ninh Hoà district, on the south by Cam Ranh town and on the west by Diên Khánh District. The city has about 392,000 inhabitants, a number that is projected to increase to 560,000 by 2015 and 630,000 inhabitants by 2025. An area of 12.87 square kilometres (4.97 sq mi) of the western communes of Diên An and Diên Toàn is planned to be merged into Nha Trang which will make its new area 265.47 square kilometres (102.50 sq mi) based on the approval of the Prime Minister of Vietnam in September 2012.

Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Bea Santiago of the Philippines was crowned as the Winner by Miss International 2008, Alejandra Andreu. This was the second year consecutive Japan hosted the Contest.

Miss Panamá 2014 is the 48th Annual edition of the Miss Panamá pageant was select representatives from Panama to Miss World, Miss Universe & Miss Intercontinental pageant.
