2017 Premier Badminton League was the second edition of Premier Badminton League. It started on 1 January 2017 and concluded on 14 January 2017. It consisted of 15 league ties and the top four teams progressed to the knock out stages. Sachin Tendulkar became a co-owner of Bengaluru Topguns before the season and they were renamed as Bengaluru Blasters.
Awadhe Warriors, Mumbai Rockets, Chennai Smashers and Hyderabad Hunters entered the semi-finals after topping the league table. Chennai Smashers beat Awadhe Warriors 4-1 and Mumbai Rockets beat Hyderabad Hunters 3-(-1) to proceed to the final. Chennai Smashers won the tournament after beating Mumbai Rockets 4-3.

Delhi Dashers was one of the Badminton teams competing in the Premier Badminton League (PBL). Delhi Dashers have been a part of the PBL since its inception and their best finish arrived in the Season 2 (2016), after defeating Mumbai Rockets in the finals. Owned by Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd., who became the new owners of the franchise from third season onwards, Delhi Dashers finished at the third position in the PBL season III (2017).

Kid Krrish is an Indian film series of animated television films produced by Toonz Animation, Film Kraft Productions and Turner International India. The first film of the series, Kid Krrish was released on 2 October 2013 and the film is part of Kid Krrish film series, which itself is part of Krrish franchise, with its three sequels: Kid Krrish: Mission Bhutan, Kid Krrish: Mystery in Mongolia and Kid Krrish: Shakalaka Africa.

Dabang Delhi T.T.C. is an Indian professional table tennis franchise based in New Delhi, that plays in Ultimate Table Tennis. It was established in 2017 as one of the franchise in Ultimate Tennis League. They were champions of the league defeating Falcons TTC in the final of 2018 season, but lost out in the 2019 season after reaching the finals.
