Elaphoidella is a genus of freshwater copepods in the family Canthocamptidae. It contains over 200 species, including three classified as vulnerable species by the IUCN – three endemic to Slovenia and one endemic to the United States. In total, the genus Elaphoidella contains the following species:
Ingolfiella is a genus of amphipod in the family Ingolfiellidae, containing the following species:
Monolistra is a genus of isopod crustaceans in the family Sphaeromatidae. Its members are restricted to countries of the former Yugoslavia and neighbouring Italy. It contains the following subgenera and species, four of which are listed as vulnerable (VU) or endangered (EN) on the IUCN Red List:
Niphargobates is a genus of amphipod crustaceans containing two species from European caves. Niphargobates lefkodemonaki is only known to occur in a cave near Xyloskalo in the Lefka Ori mountains, Crete, Greece. Niphargobates orophobata is only known to occur in caves near Postojna, Slovenia. Both species are listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
Niphargus is by far the largest genus of its family, the Niphargidae, and the largest of all freshwater amphipod genera.
Proasellus is a genus of isopod crustaceans in the family Asellidae. Two of its species, P. parvulus and P. slovenicus, are Slovenian endemics which are listed as vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List.
Typhlocypris cavicola is a species of ostracod crustacean in the family Candonidae. It is endemic to Slovenia, where it is only known from Krka Cave.
Troglocaris is a genus of freshwater shrimp in the family Atyidae. These stygobitic, whitish and eyeless shrimp are found in Southern Europe. Although locally very common, the small ranges of the individual species make them highly vulnerable to habitat loss, for example by water extraction. Their underground habitat is often extremely stable; for example, the Vipavska jama cave in Slovenia is home to a population of T. anophthalmus, and its water only varies from 10 °C (50 °F) in the winter to 11 °C (52 °F) in the summer. In some Dinaric caves, notably Vjetrenica, as many as three species may occur together.
Remasellus parvus, the swimming Florida cave isopod, is an isopod endemic to "4 caves in the Ochlockonee and Aucilla-Suwanee drainages of Florida", United States. It is the only species in the genus Remasellus.
