Doctor Prats is a band from Terrassa in Catalonia, Spain that was formed in 2015.
Doctor Prats was created in 2015, with the intent to be solely an online band. [1] [2] The same year, they released their first album, Patates amb peix (Potatoes with fish). On Saturday 11 April they performed their first concert in the Faktoria d'Arts in Terrassa, in collaboration with various local artists. [3]
In April 2016, just a year after the first album was released, a second single, called Aham Sigah, was released. They performed the new work at the Bikini Room in Barcelona. [4] Thereafter, they toured Catalonia, performing at venues such as Clownia, [5] the Acampada Jove [ ca ], or the Barcelona annual festival La Mercè.[ citation needed ]
They began performing abroad in 2017, with concerts in France, Hungary, [6] and Japan. They continued performing on tour in Catalonia, filling venues such as the Canet Rock Festival [ ca; pt ], the Acampada Jove, or the BioRitme Festival [ ca ], among many others. On 4 October the two-year tour came to a close with a concert in the Apollo Room (Barcelona) [ ca ], but the political events surrounding the 2017 Catalan independence referendum at the time caused it to be canceled. The tour ended on 30 October at the Sant Narcís fairs in Girona.

The Barcelona–Vallès Line is an unconnected standard gauge rapid transit and commuter railway line linking Barcelona with Sabadell and Terrassa via the Collserola mountain range, in Catalonia, Spain. Its name refers to the Catalan historical region of Vallès, whereby most part of the line runs. Plaça de Catalunya station serves as the Barcelona terminus of the line, where almost all its trains either start or terminate. The line then continues northwards and branches off twice before leaving the city limits. Its main route splits in two in Sant Cugat del Vallès, forming two major branches to Sabadell and Terrassa. It has 40 passenger stations in operation and a total line length of 48.1 kilometres (29.9 mi).
Gerard Quintana i Rodeja is a Catalan singer, songwriter, poet, novelist, actor, and radio and TV personality. He first came to prominence in 1986-2001 as the lead singer of the rock band Sopa de Cabra. Sopa de Cabra was one of the leading bands of the rock català genre. Since the dissolution of the band in 2001, Quintana has pursued a successful solo career. As a singer-songwriter, he completed five albums between 2003 and 2010, together with three in collaboration with Jordi Batiste, and a recent album (2014) with Xarim Aresté. He also writes and publishes poetry, and has written regularly as a journalist for online Catalan newspapers and journals. He appeared in the short film Diogenes, the dog. Since the publication of his first novel in 2019 he is also establishing himself as a serious novelist.

Txarango was a Spanish (Catalan) band formed in Barcelona in 2010. Their members are musicians from the Catalan counties of Ripollès, Osona and Garrotxa. The band's name, Stay Homas, plays on words with the expression "stay home".

Vallparadís Park is a natural urban space located in the municipality of Terrassa, in the province of Barcelona, Spain. Its construction began in 1991, from several previous approaches during the 19th and 20th centuries, which culminated in the final drafting of the project by Manuel Ribas i Piera. The park was declared an Bien de Interés Cultural by the Government of Spain. From north to south it is about 3.5 km long, and averages about 100 m wide.
