Doubletop Mountain is a 2,667-metre (8,750-foot) mountain in British Columbia, Canada.
Doubletop Mountain is part of the Adamant Range which is a subrange of the Selkirk Mountains. [4] It is located 84 km (52 mi) northwest of Golden along the west side of the Rocky Mountain Trench. Precipitation runoff and glacial meltwater from the mountain drains to Kinbasket Lake via Swan and Double Eddy creeks. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises 1,367 metres (4,485 ft) above Double Eddy Creek in 2 km (1.2 mi) and 1,367 metres (4,485 ft) above Swan Creek in 2.5 km (1.6 mi). Doubletop Mountain is located immediately north of the Bill Putnam hut which is one of Canada's best ski mountaineering destinations. [5] The mountain's toponym was officially adopted on March 4, 1965, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada. [3]
Based on the Köppen climate classification, Doubletop Mountain is located in a subarctic climate zone with cold, snowy winters, and mild summers. [6] Winter temperatures can drop below −20 °C with wind chill factors below −30 °C.
Mount Columbia is a mountain located in the Winston Churchill Range of the Rocky Mountains. It is the highest point in Alberta, Canada, and is second only to Mount Robson for height and topographical prominence in the Canadian Rockies. It is located on the border between Alberta and British Columbia on the northern edge of the Columbia Icefield. Its highest point, however, lies within Jasper National Park in Alberta.
Joffre Peak is a 2,721-metre (8,927-foot) mountain summit located in the Coast Mountains, in Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is the second-highest point of the Joffre Group, which is a subset of the Lillooet Ranges. It is situated 26 km (16 mi) east of Pemberton and 11 km (7 mi) northeast of Lillooet Lake. Joffre is more notable for its steep rise above local terrain than for its absolute elevation as topographic relief is significant with the summit rising 1,500 meters (4,920 ft) above Cayoosh Creek in 4 km (2.5 mi). The nearest higher peak is Mount Matier, 1.6 km (1 mi) to the south. The mountain's climate supports the Matier Glacier on the southwest slope, and the Anniversary Glacier on the southeast slope. Precipitation runoff from the peak drains into Joffre Creek and Cayoosh Creek which are both within the Fraser River watershed.
Mount Poland is a 2,853-metre (9,360 ft) mountain summit located in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, Canada. The mountain is situated 40 km (25 mi) north of Golden in the Blaeberry Valley, 4 km (2.5 mi) southeast of Mount Mummery. The mountain was named after Canadian Army Private Herbert J. Poland of Golden, BC, who was killed in 1944 World War II action. The mountain's name was officially adopted July 5, 1961, when approved by the Geographical Names Board of Canada. The first ascent of the mountain was made in 1958 by J. Owen, E. Pigou, and guide A. Bitterlich.

It is situated on the British Columbia-Alberta border, as well as the Continental Divide, and the west boundary of Banff National Park. Precipitation runoff from Mount English drains into tributaries of the Eagle River. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises 1,540 meters (5,052 ft) above Wap Creek in 3 km (1.9 mi).
Catamount Peak is a 2,733-metre (8,967-foot) mountain located in Glacier National Park in British Columbia, Canada. Catamount Peak is part of the Hermit Range of the Selkirk Mountains and is 7 km (4.3 mi) west of Rogers Pass. It is approximately midway between Revelstoke and Golden. Neighbors include Cheops Mountain, 5.05 km (3.14 mi) to the east, and Ursus Major Mountain, 1.83 km (1.14 mi) to the northeast. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's south slope drains to Illecillewaet River via Cougar Brook, and the north slope drains to the Beaver River via Ursus Creek. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises 1,230 metres (4,035 ft) above Ursus Creek in 2 km (1.2 mi) and 930 m (3,051 ft) above Cougar Brook in 1 km (0.62 mi). This peak is visible from the Trans-Canada Highway.
