DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is a crossover kart-racing game developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment. The game was released on November 3, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Similar to GameMill's Nickelodeon Kart Racers trilogy, All-Star Kart Racing features 20 playable DreamWorks Animation characters from Shrek , Madagascar , Kung Fu Panda , How to Train Your Dragon , Megamind , Trolls , The Boss Baby , and The Bad Guys ; two additional characters are available in a downloadable content pack. 20 race tracks are present, with five of the six cups using four for each cup. While not playable, the titular Trolls characters have a major presence as the hosts of each race, which feature unique gimmicks such as extra musical notes and unique hazards. They also hop onto the karts when a driver collects enough Musical Notes on the tracks. Upon obtaining a certain amount of notes, there are "Troll Surprises" that function as special items. [1] [2]
DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing was announced on July 25, 2023. A gameplay trailer was released in October 2023, [3] followed by a launch trailer released on November 2, a day before the initial release. [4]
DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing received "mixed or average" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic. [5] The game had praise for its visual designs and voice acting, while criticism was towards its varied power-ups, attacks, and the lack of other familiar DreamWorks characters. [6] [7] [8]

Shrek is an American media franchise of DreamWorks Animation. Players have the option of playing one of twelve Shrek characters, using racing and combat skills to defeat other racers. It was released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Game Boy Advance systems. Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing was the final game based on a DreamWorks Animation film to be released on the GameCube.
InTru3D was a brand that identifies content that may be viewed in stereoscopic 3D. Motion pictures or other visual media bearing the brand are developed through animation technology developed by Intel in partnership with DreamWorks Animation in 2008. InTru3D enables animators to author films directly in 3D for what is described as "a more realistic 3D experience." Animated films authored with InTru3D are shown in theaters using 3D stereoscopic projection technology such as that provided by Real D Cinema and IMAX 3D which both require polarized glasses to view the 3D films.
Madagascar Kartz is a kart racing game developed by Sidhe and published by Activision. Based on DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar, It was released in 2009 for various consoles as the second game on Madagascar's spin-off series. Kung Fu Panda is an American martial arts comedy media franchise that started in 2008 with the release of the animated film Kung Fu Panda produced by DreamWorks Animation. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is a 2022 American animated adventure comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. The sequel to the spin-off film Puss in Boots (2011) and the sixth installment of the Shrek film series, the film was directed by Joel Crawford, co-directed by Januel Mercado, and written by Paul Fisher, Tommy Swerdlow, and Tom Wheeler. Based on the character introduced in Shrek 2 (2004) and inspired by the fairy tale of the same name, the voice cast includes Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek reprising their respective roles as the titular character and Kitty Softpaws, with new additions to the cast including Harvey Guillén, Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, John Mulaney, and Wagner Moura. The story follows Puss in Boots, who teams up with Kitty Softpaws and Perrito to find the Last Wish of the fallen Wishing Star to restore eight of his nine lives. They race against other fairy tale characters seeking the same treasure, while a sinister wolf hunts Puss himself.
DreamWorks Water Park is an indoor water park within the American Dream shopping and entertainment complex, at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. Opened on October 1, 2020, the water park includes 15 water slides and 15 attractions, and covers 8.5 acres (3.4 ha).
