Dutch railway services is an index page of all the rail services operated in the Netherlands.
Railway services in the Netherlands are operated by the following (see also rail transport operators in the Netherlands):
In the Netherlands there are three types of domestic train services on the main lines, these are:
Private operators running on regional lines use other brands:
The 'Sneltrein' and 'Stoptrein' services used to be operated on the main lines as well. Since 2007 both services were being phased out. As of December 2011, all 'Sneltrein' services on the main lines had been replaced by either 'Intercity' services or 'Sprinter' services. Meanwhile, all 'Stoptrein' services on the main lines had been rebranded into 'Sprinter' services.
International (high speed) services to countries such as Belgium, France and Germany are mostly operated by NS International and Thalys, although other operators have international services as well, such as Deutsche Bahn and Belgian Railway services.
Below the train services are arranged by type, and for each type ordered by number. For a combined sortable table with links to timetables, but listing less stations, see Train routes in the Netherlands.

Inter-city rail services are express trains that run services that connect cities over longer distances than commuter or regional trains. They include rail services that are neither short-distance commuter rail trains within one city area nor slow regional rail trains stopping at all stations and covering local journeys only. An inter-city train is typically an express train with limited stops and comfortable carriages to serve long-distance travel.
Nederlandse Spoorwegen is the principal passenger railway operator in the Netherlands. It is a Dutch state-owned company founded in 1938. The Dutch rail network is the busiest in the European Union, and the third busiest in the world after Switzerland and Japan.
The following list focuses on the routes taken by trains traveling on railway lines in the Netherlands. A list including all the stops on the train routes can be found at Dutch Railway Services.
Belgium's high-speed rail network provides mostly international connections from Brussels to France, Germany and The Netherlands. The high-speed network began with the opening of the HSL 1 to France in 1997, and since then high-speed lines have been extended towards Germany with HSL 2 in 2002, HSL 3 from Liège to the German border in 2009, and HSL 4 from Antwerp to the Dutch border in 2009.
Rail transport in the Netherlands uses a dense railway network which connects nearly all major towns and cities. There are as many train stations as there are municipalities in the Netherlands. The network totals 3,223 route km (2,003 mi) on 6,830 kilometres (4,240 mi) of track; a line may run both ways, or two lines may run on major routes. Three-quarters of the lines have been electrified.

The station was opened on 1 January 1872, when the railway line between Rotterdam and Antwerp was opened. On 16 July 1885, the railway line from Dordrecht to Gorinchem was opened. The neo-Renaissance railway station building is located to the south of the city centre. Dordrecht is now an important railway station on the Nederlandse Spoorwegen railway network. Roosendaal is also a border station between the Netherlands and Belgium. Trains in Belgium run on the left side of double-track whereas in the Netherlands right-hand running is the norm. At some borders, the changeover is achieved by using a flyover, but at Roosendaal trains stop and await a signal to allow them to proceed to the opposite track.

In Europe, trains are assigned to different categories or train types by railway companies depending on their role. Passenger trains may be broadly split into long-distance and local trains; the latter having average journey times of under an hour and a range of less than 50 kilometres (31 mi). Goods trains have their own train types. The names of these train types have changed continually over the course of time.
